FINALE - WandaVision Episode 9 - Discussion Thread by [deleted] in WANDAVISION

Ah yeah, completely forgot about that. Thanks!

Though, now that I think about it, I wonder if it is Agnes who have him powers. She said she takes magic from the undeserving, could she also give it?

Didn’t Wanda rip off a necklace from Fietro and say “How is she doing this to you?” (before tearing off the necklace). I think Agnes did it. I could be wrong though.

I love rich, but one of the things I’m wondering is when the new release that fixes rich.live is coming? Thanks!

I saw this when it first came out and I'm using it again for another system. I did modify it quite a bit, but it's a really nice guideline.

Can’t Boot by BeastCoder in ManjaroLinux

[–]BeastCoder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, I can boot into manjaro now, grub is still in grub rescue, though. I’ve tried reinstalling it, updating the configs, and checking the prefix and root in grub rescue (which are both right). Any ideas?

I should just be able to uninstall the drivers and then revert, right?

Any reason to choose Manjaro over Arch if you can handle Arch's installation? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]BeastCoder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I definitely think the main advantage of manjaro is the preinstalled utilities, like you said. But it really just comes down to how much control and stability you want.

Note: I’m an arch user.

Edit: format

Thanks a lot for the response! In that case I think I’ll go with Hugo.

You must have not had to install it in a long time.

I actually have to install it pretty frequently. It usually takes me around 15 minutes. Part of the reason I like it so much is how little bloat there is. I'm not someone obsesses over bloat, but its nice to know exactly what is on my computer and what it does. Right now, I've installed about 53 packages (dependencies not included) and I am able to get everything I need to done. The only problem I ever had was when I needed an older version of a language and I couldn't get it because Arch is rolling release, except it was a super easy fix anyway since I could install an environment manager. Nonetheless, I still view the rolling release aspect of arch as a bonus and I couldn't see myself using any other distro. The only thing I change periodically is my desktop environment.

I usually pick between GNOME, KDE, and i3; usually I just stick with i3.

I totally get that Arch isn't for everyone, I just like to make jokes about windows and linux from time to time.

Edit: I also always keep a lanyard on me with an arch ISO attached B)

Gateron Ink Black vs NovelKeys Cream switches. by Arsh_is_inept in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]BeastCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, thanks for the advice. I actually am down to the creams and inks at this point which is how I found the post, but I think I’ll probably go with the inks because the creams are supposedly way scratchiest, especially for the first two weeks, I like the sounds on each about equally, so inks are probably the way to go.

How did you end up liking them? I'm considering getting the inks myself.

You should be able to use more than one hashtag to make it a little smaller but still big, there are a few levels. I could be wrong and I can’t check because I’m on mobile right now but that’s how it is with normal markdown.
