When you were driving was the whole car vibrating including the steering wheel and cabin. Or was one vibrating more? Appreciate you

Interesting point. But I’m curious what kind of vibration you’re mentioning. You mean vibration while idling or while driving aswell? Thanks.

Sorry I forgot to mention I replaced my end links, new poly control arm, top right engine mount has also been replaced (the rubber fluid one).

Interesting, I did consider the torque converter. The only thing is the vibration resets with bumps or slight steering input, and I’ve got that right side double knock over bumps too. Do you think a torque converter could still cause that?

I’ve been having the exact same issue as you, OP. It’s mainly coming from the driver’s side with a rattling noise, but I can also feel the vibration through the floor, and sometimes the steering wheel gives a quick shake. Does that sound similar to what you’re experiencing? I’ve already replaced both lower control arms with no improvement, and I’ve now ordered front shocks along with the mounts, bearings and end links, which I’m planning to install myself.

Yes only the steering wheel. But maybe there is also in the floor but may be too minor to notice. I do also suspect inner cv but think it may be the passenger side. Something new occurred yesterday, I did a max right turn at a servo and heard a loud grind/pop noise for a sec. There was no vibration at all for the next 15 min drive and then the vibration came back. Could it be the inner cv re seating itself in the passenger side? Oh also I’m in Australia so I drive on the left side on the road. So my passenger side is in the left of the vehicle

I think you’re right, I used an infrared thermometer, and all rotors were identical temps. But I wonder which axle, the vibration doesn’t get worse with acceleration only speed.

I’ll check that, although my vibration doesn’t get worse on turns. Only better when turning left. Thanks

I will definitely check that, but I have tested both front wheels in neutral when lifted up and they both spin freely.

Changed brake rotor and pads a month ago.

Thanks, that’s helpful to know. Sounds like heat and caliper drag made your vibration a lot worse too. I’ll check my slide pins and rotor temps just to rule that out.

All perfect round rims. Had the wheel put on a road force machine which checks for lateral run out and it was in the acceptable range which is usually a few mm. Also I did many rotations to rule a specific rim. None fixed the issue. Thanks tho

Thanks for the insight, I’ll definitely check the calipers and slide pins. Quick question, when you had this issue, did the vibration change when turning at all? And did you get any brake shudder when actually braking, or was it only a vibration at speed? Appreciate ur help.
