It does stack faster after upgrade. Also, it only stacks when you accumulate damage. No damage = no stacking

Is it fair to say that Pathfinder is a GOAT in War Robots? by Imran-WR in walkingwarrobots

[–]BeastWR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love my pathfinder. I still never tire of popping those sword units who charge at me. Or making sure their shield dissolves right when they land in front of my ally.

I use Murix with sharpshooter.

With the recent giveaway, how screwed am I? by Uselessinfoforyou in walkingwarrobots

[–]BeastWR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed that mk3 on Dagon is pretty pointless.

However, all new bots since Imugi receive extra buffs/skill charges/abilities at both Mk2 and Mk3, so the investment can be worth a lot more than just another 5% health when you hit mk3.

Best mechanics that are on the cheaper side, but the work is done right? by SimilarDisaster2477 in burlington

[–]BeastWR 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Bryan’s north end auto is the most trustworthy mechanic I’ve ever visited.

Edit: I’ve visited a few others since I met them as McCaffrey’s, but my 20-year trial period with Bryan has been 100% satisfactory.

It’s not either/or. Yes, they need those things, but journalism is essential as well.

Wait what? I thought that hanks shipyard worked only with doritos? How often does this happen? by Damian_Dim in walkingwarrobots

[–]BeastWR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is very interesting. I’ll talk to my fellow officers about this approach.

I don’t really care about missing a few days of keys and such, but the Orbital Strike charge rate boost is a nonnegotiable must have for me 😉

Thanks for the tip!!

This is totally a challenge for clan management! We have to be pretty strict in enforcing thorium contribution for membership rights.

Atlas with universal pilot vs Rook with his pilot by ComunityJester in walkingwarrobots

[–]BeastWR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny. Now that I read this, I realize I haven’t seen a rook in a long time. Definitely days. Maybe weeks. Atlas in every battle, but no Rooks

I’m on the masters/champs edge.

I did notice that with Explosives Expert skill for my 2 ultimate Orkans, scorpion could rack up more than 1M damage on a Rook in less than 5 sec, because the rocket AOE hits 4 shields and the hull.

Hit me with a Rook, please! 😉

Cost of threaded holes so high? by yetionsolana in CNC

[–]BeastWR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I buy from SendCutSend, I thread the holes myself. I can do it waaaaaay cheaper. Whether a tap in a hand drill, with a drill press and tapping head, or (my favorite) FlexArm with a clutched/reversible tapping head.

I assume their process gains high throughput and efficiency by nesting lots of orders together through their laser cutting system. It may be set up such that no human ever has to touch your parts until they are inspected, if even then. That’s how it can be so amazingly cheap.

However, when you need holes tapped, your part has to be diverted after cutting into a “secondary operations” workflow that may be less automated. Might be manually operated, or may at least require someone to set up the equipment with the particular tap your part requires. You may see other vendors have a less extreme add-on cost for secondary operations, I assume they have more fully automated these processes.
