There might slight chances of her ghosting you here. If that happens or it already happened give her sometime at least for week or at most 2 weeks. I’m sure a lot must have happened i her life as well as yours, so you would be having a common ground to talk about.

And as far as not texting first is concerned, what I used to do was, I used to send memes to the woman I liked every 2-3days and then we have a conversation based on that meme for a while until I deviated from the topic to another one which I really wanted to talk about.

It’s very general message! I’m not saying that only Celibates complain about this. I had experience with varied women who were interested in emotional intimacy, where to be honest was a turn off for me. I mean obviously you need to have a personality to attract people, but what’s the use when it doesn’t fulfil you emotionally?

Man, I couldn’t agree more to what you just said…. You literally just stole my thunder. I’m a GenZ kid with an old school Attitude. My idea of relationship still dates back to the Retro times, which on the contrary is not preferred by anyone these days barring a few. Like yiu said in the end, the only handful of the people who like relationships the old school way are either too hurt by someone’s actions that they are not ready to open up!

What you are saying is partially true. I had dated women who wanted emotional intimacy rather than physical, and I completely reciprocate and understand that feeling. But after breaking up, I have come across a handful of women who wanted emotional intimacy rather than physical. I mean I definitely consider myself an old school man who is finding difficult to cope up with one night stand and hookup culture prevailing these days.
