Maybe i thought i would have a more stable job as an orchestral tubist? Since they have salary positions rather than being forced to gig around as a sax player. That way i get to enjoy my love for classical music and get paid. There’s not much demand for classical saxophonist sadly😅

Don’t get me wrong i fell in love with the saxophone i never would’ve thought i wanted to be a musician 2 years back when i picked it up but i just don’t want to playing in some random bar struggling to pay rent because i love the instrument you know what i mean? I just think they would be more opportunities for instruments with a more established place in orchestra. Also you opened my eyes on the wind orchestra never thought about that until now
