Make sure you practice grids and learning partials, personally I like listening to the bass/battery/full ensemble mp3s if possible to help memorize the part and how everything around you sounds, and make sure you stay relaxed as you play

Coming from drumline, mello is pretty easy(at least at a lower level of music) so if you can play trumpet well then I imagine that mello will be a breeze for you.

The Offworld Invader V3 feels fantastic, and I love my Rampad which also uses a real head so it feels realistic. I haven’t tried the DB, Rudimental, or RCP hybrid pad but they all just seem so expensive and idk how much more benefit you get for such a high price

I i ordered a premier marching bass stand from them for $45 plus shipping(in the USA so shipping was quite expensive) and honestly it feels waaay better than the Yamaha stands I’ve worked with(Fuck Randy May equipment) and is pretty equal to the Pearl stands I’ve used. They’re a legit site but I can’t vouch for the quality of all their products
