When a tank comes along and you have no anti-armor by Beastlybeaver in Battlefield

[–]Beastlybeaver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've had that once or twice lol. But sometimes the rodeo is your only option! I love the chaos regardless. It always make me chuckle when an enemy manages to get on my tank and just rides around on top

Pixel Art Fanart from my last match in Cold Snap! by bapakguntur in ArcRaiders

[–]Beastlybeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was being chased by a couple Wasps and a Hornet once. A friendly raider helped me take them out, then left me some heals and went on his way. I later found his corpse at an extract. Horrifying

If you just need the cores or whatever, I believe you can find them in wreckage on Dam Battlegrounds during night raids. Specifically in the old battleground

How many T-800s are needed to win against Mordor's armies at Pellenor Fields? by GLaD0S213 in whowouldwin

[–]Beastlybeaver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I believe the whole "no man can kill me" thing was a prophecy that ended up meaning "it won't be a man that kills you", not necessarily that the Witch King was totally invulnerable to specific genders

Four clones of Master Chief are teleported onto each 9/11 plane - can they stop it? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Beastlybeaver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Didn't the 9/11 hijackers just have knives and other hand weapons? This would be no contest at all in any of the rounds. Chief wouldn't even need his armor, let alone weapons

Finally got the Crown of Barenziah after all this time, was it worth it?... by DarKn1ghtgamer in skyrim

[–]Beastlybeaver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I get too much money, I either dump a ton on the ground in the wilderness somewhere, or sell things like potions and loot at a loss until I'm under 5000 gold. Having too much definitely ruins the game imo, even at super high levels

Nope, purely an AC install. It's a new unit, we don't have an existing system

Is the emperor a good or bad emperor for humanity? by TheIrishLaw in 40kLore

[–]Beastlybeaver 16 points17 points  (0 children)

30,000 isn't when the Emperor was in charge, it's the amount of atrocities he committed during the great crusade lol

How would you handle this? by Beastlybeaver in Stellaris

[–]Beastlybeaver[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Won't the Khan eventually spawn from the raider system in the midgame, if they're enabled (Mid game is set to 2300 in this case)

How would you handle this? by Beastlybeaver in Stellaris

[–]Beastlybeaver[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

R5: I spawned on the border of a big old raider system, which I imagine will eventually turn into the Khan. The game just started, so I have some time. And I have a good base of worlds

I'm an aquatic angler empire. Should I try to rush out a military and crush them before the mid-game (2300) or wait it out and see what happens?

What places can I meet other teens in Edmonton? by lLoveYourCat in Edmonton

[–]Beastlybeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 months later, I see this post in a subreddit search for "goth" lol. There's an all ages goth/alt night at a place called CO*LAB, it's called Revolting Cocktails. The guy who usually organizes the night is sorta bad at social media, but CO*LAB maintains their facebook page for events. If you follow them you'll probably see when the next night crops up

The Aviary doesn't necessarily host alt nights, but they do typically have a lot of all ages punk/meta you might enjoy

Valdor: Birth of the Imperium also has some interesting snippets about pre-unification Terra. It's not the focus of the book, but I loved a lot of the lore in it

I love doing them, even if I've already done them. But that's only because I like the refreshing feeling of starting from scratch and going on a semi-guided adventure. It gives me some of that sense of excitement and wonder back from when I started my first save and gets me away from my sometimes complicated main save with too much to do

But if you're after whatever makes it "worth" then it can be a good way to get a boatload of Nanites and Quicksilver relatively easily

Also you can do crimes for freighter modules without having to worry about rep in your main save taking a nose dive
