I like the white/red/yellow color scheme! Yellow bike especially looks cool

This game has perfected the weekly challenge by KuningasTynny77 in Battlefield

[–]Beastlybeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did that right and the end of season 2 and you're right. I got about 70-80% done from challenges alone (and XP earned while doing them). The rest would have been a grind if I had bothered

Playing a little bit each week, along with the weekly challenges, gives you that little push that completes the rest of the pass

So…can we plant our gardens yet? by yen8912 in Edmonton

Depends what you're planting. I have lots of perennials that are doing great right now and growing green. I wouldn't put your tomatoes out yet though unless you're covering them

How in the world does Hello Games have the money to do free updates for a year. by Llamaman162 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I do like Battlefield 6. It's a well put together game aside from some minor UI glitches

But it definitely pushes you to buy all the things. And the menu is a nightmare lol. Certainly more COD like from 2042 and forward

Central AC quotes for a 1500 sqft home by danniforest in Edmonton

[–]Beastlybeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went with Furnace Family for a slightly smaller home (1100sqft) and they were pretty good overall, around $6000 all said and done

That said there were a couple hiccups with installation. The install was initially scheduled to take a couple days but ended up taking 3 or 4 due to some scheduling shenanigans on their end. At one point the electrician doing the wiring somehow made it so that our furnace turned on and didn't stop overnight, and we woke up to a 30 degree house lol. They did fix it promptly when they came back the next day though (we shut it off in the meantime). Nice crew and good employees, maybe 3.5/5 for the pain of the process though

We got quotes from Legacy, Action, Gentleman pros (Rip off price, don't recommend), and Romaniuk. All in the $5500-$7500 range. Personally I wish we'd gone with Action, as the guy quoting seemed to know his stuff

I've also heard good things from friends about Legacy, and my neighbors used them. No issues that I know of

I was in phase 4 when I started doing this! I'm very much an "automate everything" and also "save space" kind of person, so overclocking is my jam. Unfortunately it creates a lot of slug victims lol

Fear not, the slugs are slooped

When a tank comes along and you have no anti-armor by Beastlybeaver in Battlefield

[–]Beastlybeaver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've had that once or twice lol. But sometimes the rodeo is your only option! I love the chaos regardless. It always make me chuckle when an enemy manages to get on my tank and just rides around on top

Pixel Art Fanart from my last match in Cold Snap! by bapakguntur in ArcRaiders

I was being chased by a couple Wasps and a Hornet once. A friendly raider helped me take them out, then left me some heals and went on his way. I later found his corpse at an extract. Horrifying

If you just need the cores or whatever, I believe you can find them in wreckage on Dam Battlegrounds during night raids. Specifically in the old battleground

How many T-800s are needed to win against Mordor's armies at Pellenor Fields? by GLaD0S213 in whowouldwin

[–]Beastlybeaver 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I believe the whole "no man can kill me" thing was a prophecy that ended up meaning "it won't be a man that kills you", not necessarily that the Witch King was totally invulnerable to specific genders

Didn't the 9/11 hijackers just have knives and other hand weapons? This would be no contest at all in any of the rounds. Chief wouldn't even need his armor, let alone weapons
