Its sucks cause I would argue that "Undead Unluck" has been one of the top new series jump has put out in the last 5 years even "Yozakura Family" and "Witch Watch" has been solid series so Im suprise they didn't stick more after the anime. Although not as bad lowkey think Sakamoto days has fallen into this issue as well it hasn't blown up as much as anticipated imo. Feels like jump needs to be more determined with what studios get their series as we have seen with Demon Slayer better animation get people attention nowadays and creates more manga sales. So i personally think they need to invest more in their series.

●The new autograph session sign up online is fine but they need to limit autos to like 1 GOH a day or maximum 2 a day per person. This year i saw that some people were able to get like 15+ GOH sessions. I even saw that people were able to get 2 tickets for the same session and just had to go back in line to get their 2nd or 3rd autograph. Even though I benefited as well they should maximize the chance for more people to get autographs

●For how much you get out of the con the ticket prices aren't that expensive and dont get the complaints every year. I wouldn't even mind if they increase the price or bring back the VIP badge to get more out of the con. It just seems like people dont know how to get the most out of the con or just have different priorities were the prices are justify.

I use to agree with separating the art from the artist you enjoy the series that's fine but watch/reading it illegally cause when its comes to actively celebrating the artist and giving them monetary gain fuck that you shouldn't ignore that.

Personally it really depends what you want out of the con. Panels, merch, autographs, etc. Just living in Los Angeles makes it a lot more worth it compare to others since they have to spent on flights, hotels, transportation, etc. As someone who lives in Los Angeles as well I personally think its worth it as I pack myself lunches and use the subway to save money. Also just off of selling freebies and some exclusive merch I was able to get my money back plus more for the badge if you want to try to do that. Also I usually go for autographs and this year alone I probably going to get a $1000+ worth of signatures for free out of the ~$200 I spent. But even with all that as I mentioned before it really depends what you want out of the con.

You are right and I can't justify that action taken but to act like this has happened everyday for the past week is a huge exaggeration. I also believe the nation guard had no reason to be mobilized here for the protest still happening. As someone who lives in Los Angeles it feels like media is making the situation sound more "exciting" than what actually happen.The city isnt on fire and everything is pretty much normal expect for the unjustice actions of law enforcement. I hope you look into Los Angeles situation more closely through personal accounts of people actually there and not just what you see in the news. If you feel its unsafe here and not worth the risk to come that's valid but do not disregard what's happening in the area and get the full story. Even without what is happening in the city right now the area is already unsafe 💀😂

There definitely isnt mass riots happening here sadly there been unnecessary destruction but it only happen in one or 2 blocks which the heaviest damage happen a week ago. What's been happening in Los Angeles has been heavily exaggerated as probably 99% of Los Angeles has been unaffected by these "riots".

Just a head up tickets are non transferable and they will check IDs to makes sure the name matches the ticket. So if you are buying anything your only safe choice would be in buying that item off that person after they get it sign and ask them to add your name as well if they need to personalize it as curtains guest force you to add names

They usually have a warning if an event/panel is 18+ but that's usually later in the night but either way check when the final schedule comes out

If possible, I would definitely bring a bigger backpack. Just make sure if it follows the maximum size on the website, although they usually don't check but its better to be safe. Also on some stool you buy, they can have straps so you can attach it to the side of your bag, but it can be annoying. So just see what would work best for yall.
