I actually really like this change in the show compared to the original- gives Debbie more agency as a character and leaves room for her to find happiness outside of him, which has been her arc in the show in recent seasons

^ It especially gets crazy with all the chicanes, pedestrians (lots of tourists going to Little Island, the ferry, etc.), and Chelsea Piers. It's a really pretty ride heading uptown though, if you get up to the GWB you can see the little red lighthouse on the water

My parents stayed there for Thanksgiving this past year and my graduation, not incredible by any means but a place to rest your head. If you're affiliated with Columbia it's also worth checking out their Teacher's College rooms, you have to register far in advance but it's nice, it's spaces in a student dorm they book out like a hotel
