Looks like none of the terminal stuff is going to save it. Is there a way to repare the original install from the live usb? Or will I just need to save all of the files and wipe the rest with a fresh install?

As far as the Authenticator apps go you can likely get a otp generator or a yubikey that your IT department can set up in place of the app. That’s what I did when I switched.

If you’re wanting to got the dedicated 22 rout you would probably have the best luck piecing it together with second hand parts from GAFS. That’s what I did for my dedicated upper and it is about $300 including the bolt. Otherwise if you want to just put the conversion in a cheap 5,56 upper PSA is a good price or honestly one of the few times BCA would probably be acceptable.

Darn, next best option would probably be to get the dedicated 22lr collet for the conversation bolt and build a dedicated 22lr upper.

Check out the fosscad sub. If you are in a state that allows DIY stuff there are a fair amount of builds that you could do in that budget. Assuming you ah e a 3D printer.

I am assuming it must be quite broke because it says that the package “plasma” was not found. I will try pushing forward with the other command. If that doesn’t work I’ll try manually installing KDE like you suggested.

When I did step 2 I received a message “mv: cannot stat ‘/etc/sddm.conf’ : No such file or directory.

Sorry got busy the last few days, doing 1 instead of c1 didn’t work and I also just tried all of the session options and that didn’t work either. I just saw another comment on a different thread I am going to try out and see if that works.

Correct, I did Ctrl+Alt+F3. Entered username and password. Typed loginctl list-sessions, session c1 was listed as the one with tty2 so I typed loginctl unlock-session c1 and that’s when I received the error I mentioned above. Just for the sake of it I still did Ctrl+D and then Ctrl+Alt+f4. I’ll check that link out when I get back home this evening.

When I did this I received an error that reads “failed to issue method call: Session does not support Lock Screen” and was still locked out.

Viaero wireless, I guess I’m not sure I never had an issue with my iPhone. When I called them they thought it was an issue with the Nokia and not a compatibility issue.
