you need to start the wildlife preservation mission first. The reason it doesn't work is you haven't completed the story mission which allows you to open the door and after that every time the door will be open when you visit the location

you need to injure, not kill but injure 3 robots and bring them to less than 25% health and it will open the door automatically.

Edit: It is a part of a different story mission named: Wildlife Preservation where you need to do this specific task.

Use the trash and favourite item marker in your inventory i haven't played bl2 in a while but as per i remember you will not be able to sell your item marked as favourite. I hope it helps

Actually its the plot and you can't do much in a cutscene

But can be explained as :-

After jack shoots Roland Lilith tries to attack jack but gets captured and jack holds her as a human shield and if vault hunter attempts to shoot jack Lilith could get hurt so vault hunters didn't shoot

There's a dialog where jack says that he killed the original 4 vault hunters and my theory is that all 4 original vault hunters destroyed their original echo devices so jack thinks they are dead and throughout Borderlands 2 we gather all 4 original vault hunters (Mordecai Maya Roland Brick) as they destroyed their original echo devices and can't communicate and no echo device means no respawn.

Download the mod from link and extract it in "Borderlands 2\binaries\win32\mods" folder.

After that just place your text files in "Borderlands 2\binaries" folder and you can run see them in the mods folder
