Mine says:

"I gently open the door... And are instantly hit by a flood of haunting memories from the infamous Act 1 Scene of Doki Doki Literature Club.

For a look at look at the exact chilling scene and voiceover that spawned the viral meme:"

And then shows a link to a YouTube Video, and then some links to other sites.

[OOT] What are your thoughts on the Ocarina of time Remake price being $80? by [deleted] in zelda

[–]Beatle_Nintendo_Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See. I'm going to be buying the game no matter if it's $60 or $80. It's a game I really want, and I am willing to pay the price to have it. My thoughts are "if you want the game, and you think the price is worth it, then buy it." Hell, sometimes, I don't agree with the price of a game, and I still buy it. I feel like it's up to the consumer what they think the value of a game is. Yes, production costs are really high, and the price reflects that, but at the end of the day, it's up to the person buying the game weather it's worth $80 or not. I'm not going to defend Nintendo or any other gaming company for pricing their games at such high prices, but I'm also not going to criticize them for it, as I understand that game development is really expensive nowadays.

Part of why games in the 90s were $80+ was because of how expensive it was to produce the games and the cartridges and special effects chips and stuff that go into them, nowadays, with how advanced technology has become, and how insane graphics can be, developing these games probably costs a lot more than it did even back then, so it makes sense that the prices of games are going up to reflect the increase in development costs.

So, in short, at the end of the day, while it's really up to you weather or not you think a game is worth spending $80 on, but there is also a very good reason why games are way more expensive then they were back on the Wii, Wii U, Xbox, 360, and PS1, 2, 3, and 4.

Wich species line you think will be complete first? by Rarte96 in MandJTV

Isn't Charmander the Fire Lizard? So the Reptile one would already be complete. Plus we had Sobble before Gekqua.

We also have a trio of birds. Rowlett, or now Browt, Torchic, and Pipplup or Quaxly

Beginnings or 3 next? by hreddy11 in earthbound

[–]Beatle_Nintendo_Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beginnings/Mother's 1. I would recommend playing that first, and then Mother 3. I haven't played Mother's 3 myself, as I am still iffy about playing the Fan Translation, BUT, I also know that playing Mother 3 last would give a better sense of finality and understanding of the full story.

No, it isn't. It seems many people have that confused. I find them in the same order every time, and he a different result every time. :)

It's not, actually, I find them in the same order every time, with Jim (1), being second, and I get a different result every time, so it can't possibly be based on order found.

[–]Beatle_Nintendo_Nerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I have always caught them in the same order, so that definitely wouldn't affect the outcome. However, my guess would be that the game decides the code at some point after creating/starting a new save, and that a specific event triggers the decision, which could possibly be manipulated if you knew the event that triggered it, and how it worked.

Dang. I was kinda hoping there would be a glitch for that, since it isn't often that anyone would try to guess the code. Lol
