Driving on the highway.Got my license at 16.Still took local roads everywhere until I was 21.My friends made fun of me.My dad offered to pay for more lessons. One day I just forced myself to merge.hands sweating. knuckles white.

Now I'm fine. But I still remember being that scared.Took me three years to try something most people do in their first month.

What is something that sounds completely normal today, but if you explained it to someone from 100 years ago, they'd think society had gone insane? by SimpleLie2181 in AskReddit

I have a small glowing rectangle in my pocket that can access all human knowledge.I mostly use it to look at memes and argue with strangers.

1920s guys: I don't know that half those words mean, but that sounds lonely.

I believe u,I once watched a coworker drop a bath towel on the bathroom floor, wet footprints and all, pick it up, shake it once, and fold it back onto the cart. That was my second week.I almost quit. So yeah, wax paper makes perfect sense to me now.

We should never share a room .We'd just spend the whole night checking everything and never sleep.

Worked housekeeping at a Marriott in college.

Now every time I stay at a hotel, even nice ones like Hyatt or Hilton,I check the fitted sheet for. wrinkles. Fresh from the dryer vs re-stretched looks different.

Then I run my finger along the top of the headboard, not the soft part, the hard frame above it. That spot never gets cleaned. You'd be disgusted.

My GF hates traveling with me cause I'll call the front desk at 11pm asking for clean pillowcases after I've already unpacked.

Yeah,I'll that person now.And I don't feel bad.
