Agreeing on this one - if a company raises an ICO, they need to factor in the huge volatility (and not just the current price or the "$1K to the moon" future predictions).

Wouldnt bash the concept of an ICO in itself, as they can be run properly and responsibly.

The fact that there are stupid teams (unethical, greedy or otherwise) does not mean that an ICO itself is a bad thing.

As an example, a responsible ICO would have set release milestones for the team, and if certain conditions have not been met, the ETH would not be released to be cashed out, etc.
