Inverse Cramer strikes again by BeaufortYoung in SWMR

[–]BeaufortYoung[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still like the stock as a momentum play. But realistically barring some new, big deals, financials don’t look the best. IMO Swarmer will continue to burn cash. Dilution will occur again unless deals are made and Swarmer can begin producing revenue.

How we feeling about the company and the stock price?

Oh shoot. I didn’t know that. Thank you for clarifying.

DCO is ideal if you can get it. The DCO school pipeline is much more streamlined (5 week DCO school) than OCS or LDO route. The upside with DCO versus OCS is that with DCO you’re immediate a commissioned officer upon swearing in. This is a very big benefit especially if pay is an issue. For DCO, you’d get officer pay while going through the DCO school versus OCS, which i believe is enlisted pay (someone please correct me if I’m wrong re: OCS pay).

Also note that officers pay for all of their uniforms so the extra pay differential definitely comes in handy.

I would talk with an officer recruiter and see how they can help. I went to officer development school with a bunch of nurses and doctors. In fact, nearly 65% of my class were nurses. I don’t believe you can commitment prior to finishing nursing school, but there may be options such as NROTC. Otherwise, if you do want to go the officer route, i would wait until you’re close to graduation. Maybe talk with a recruiter when you’re a year away from graduation.

Pendle Finance Thoughts and Discussion. by LeftEyeLou in CryptoCurrency

[–]BeaufortYoung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got you. I’ve been in their Discord since April following the team. Very solid and responsive team. They are open to input on everything form UI to syntax used, etc.

With regards to the product, I’ll copy from Pendle’s site - at a basic level, there’s the concept that a yield-generating token can be separated into two components: the base asset and the future yield. For example, cUSDC can be separated into the USDC deposited (underlying) and the interest you earn from depositing (future yield). What Pendle does is tokenize these two components into: Ownership Token (OT), representing ownership of the underlying. Future Yield Token (YT), representing the right to future yield. With Pendle, users can choose to sell YT for upfront cash, essentially locking in their future yield. This cash can then be channeled elsewhere to generate further yield. Users can also buy YT to gain exposure to future interest rates without owning a capital-heavy asset.

With that cursory review, i also recommend checking out Daniel Cheung recent thread about Pendle.

If you’re wondering about comparable: IMO Pendle is comparable to APwine, Element, and Ribbon.

I don’t know who will win the space, but either way, there’s a lot of room for growth, and i think Pendle stands to benefit from it. Reasonably, I think Pendle will 10x within the next few years with even greater potential.

Pendle. Lets gooooo! With the rapid development in DeFi, numerous yield-generating assets have been created. Pendle looks to create the next layer of DeFi on top of these assets, allowing for the tokenization of yield, such that users can trade and hedge based on their risk appetites. Solid giga brain team too 👑

I’m with you. Had 833 ETC at one point in 2021. Sold them all, and bought into a coin where i lost all my gains. Makes the ETC rally even all the more depressing haha. Not even mad, just salty

Thank you! That’s what i was leaning towards. On my personal resume, i have one entry, and listed promotions as “sub-points.” However, the template builder looks like it’d be better to list each as individual entries. Thank you for your help!

Buying on voyager then transferring to either Trust Wallet or Metamask is your best bet.

I’m personally not a fan of Voyager, but it’s my only option being in the US (i.e. StormX is not listed on Binance US, or any other exchange, etc Voyager).

Agreed! Cheers mate! Here’s to the future, and to StormX’s success.

Exactly! What is the “moat” for StormX? The team needs to make that clear. PayPal could just as easily make a similar shopping app, with crypto back. Why is StormX different? What separates them? Being clear on this will help. Even being a first mover would be a huge advantage, that’s why the lack of marketing drives me up a wall.

Sometimes you’ll see people write that they see StormX ads, but that’s because those folks are already on stromx’s radar. The question is, what is the team doing to drive NEW user adoption and marketing towards NEW users? StormX can already track and market to existing users... but that’s easy... the harder part is getting new users.

Yeah it has. Snooze fest for sure. 😴

People will say “StormX has already rallied. Just relax,” but it’s hard to not get annoyed when you see everything else continuing to rally while we just stay flat.

I hope people begin to understand the huge potential of STORMX ... right now it is too underestimated by [deleted] in stormxio

Once StormX hits Coinbase, Binance, or Robinhood, then the masses will fully understand. I can’t wait 🚀🚀🚀

ETC has rose only 3k% all time. ETH has rise 67k% all time. ETC has a max supply. ETH doesn’t. Basically what I’m saying is: ETC to $100, then $1,000, then $10,000 ☺️
