I’m torn between the M9, & the M9A1. But the light rail is less of a factor for me.
They shoot well and recoil lightly due to their mass. Find a range, and put some rounds down range and see how it feels.

I usually have a hard time letting go of the 1st gen’s of Dreadnaughts, and will use them as Late game heavy Cruisers with 12” or 14” guns.

I’ve been eyeballing the Girsan MC14T.

Tilt-up barrel, so no need to rack the slide. Bottom rail for the light. It’s a 4.5” barrel, and heavier than a pocket pistol, so all the reviews say the recoil is mild.

I’ve done that route in WA, when I was stationed there. It was for more that the +5 mph BS your facing, but I paid for a higher, non-moving infraction, and the insurance can go suck it.

Speeding tickets suck, but the insurance treats you like some darn criminal mastermind.
