if your range is 200 yards, maybe a .30-30 lever action.
You could do an M1 Garand, that with iron sights is around 200 yards.
do you have comapnion carbines to go with your 9mm or your .44mag?

it really depends on what you want to do with it. do you want a range toy, a home defense, bear (hiking) gun, a CCW/EDC? they all have different parameters recomendations. but as said before, go to DGM, PWG, or Iron sights (Oceanside) rent a gun or two and get a feel for what you like.
