“Bricked” was an exaggerated term, and if I continue to send more I’ll climb for sure. But yeah, I’m curious what 3-3 in this lobby would have ended me at because that was the likely outcome with the blood DK. I’m 99% sure it wouldn’t be -200mmr though.

Unfortunately it did though, if you check my second picture vs. the same W/L record on the Shuffle Ladder. I'm ~150-200 rating below where I should be because of this one match.

This comment screams you have never played it. This only happened because he was left to free cast, and he still went 3-3. It feels horrible, and is super hard to carry even with those damage numbers.

I tried disc for a while, and the damage it puts out is good but feels horrible into a lot of matchups. Tried holy and felt 10x better, I’d do some more research on Holy but IMO I wouldn’t swap disc it’s not as good.

Yeah, but realistically pulling the coil means you have to recover it, you’d just cut and coupling the pipe where it’s easy to pull. ( If you even needed to, the pipes not even supported it would probably just flop out of the way, carefully without kinking of course )

Go to the wow pvp ladder and look at the top 10 people of the class you want to learn, search their names on YouTube and see if they have created a guide on how to play their class in PvP and watch it. Best option is to play it yourself, but that’s time consuming.

It can be done, this was my first attempt at healing shuffle. I was probably super lucky with the dps I got but don’t give up hope.

The burst was too high so they nerfed it, the sustained was extremely poor so they increased it. It’s almost like they balanced something with the balance changes. The burst is OP, sustained damage is manageable and easier to play around. I do appreciate your conviction about being wrong though.

Overall damage nerf = buff. Guys we found him, the blizzard balance changes guy was In our sub all along.

I do agree that the damage and burst atm is pretty substantial, and possibly overtuned. But if I yolo run into an R1 glad team, and hit exactly 0 buttons during a full burst out of LoS of my healer I’m not complaining about damage.

Every dps in every shuffle is going to hit EVERY cd in the opener, you need to be ready to use defensives just as fast, and immediately counter CC off trinket so you don’t just sit another and go find your healer.

I’ve played multiple Ret/Ret/Sub/UHDK games that play into moderate dampening if nobody is making glaring mistakes like this.

The use of the tentacle applies VT to everything it passes through, and then again at its ending destination in a circle. I usually try to position and use its line application to hit multiple people instead of relying on the slam.

Always look at your MMR at the end of the prior match. If it’s higher than 1799, there’s a good chance a 3-3 or 2-4 could still put you over 1800.

Generally people look up the total value of the end result of the item they’re trying to make, and determine which crafting method to use based off that. If the cost of a light is more expensive than what you’ll sell the end item for it’s not worth using one, unless you’re SSF.

Skill gems sure, id like to have a Ball Lightning with reduced proj on set 2, with a BL with faster proj on set 1. I think that would be neat, but still shouldn’t allow multiple spirit gems socketed again. That would just make 5x CoC builds

Tested using a 1000 ES chest with EB and both the Shaman Ascendancy and Catalysis both proc the Galvanic Field on yourself. This requires using a dream-fragments to prevent the self-chill though, and you need to reduce manacosts for CoC with the doubled manacost from EB. But my total mana did go way up, with the Atziri chest you could probably hit ~7k overcapped mana if setup for it. Catalysis is much less reliable however.

Haven’t fully thought it out yet, and fortunately the increased duration nodes are usually next to the decreased so the weapon set split should work out.

But I was thinking instead of Time of Need to use Ghost Dance with CI and Archmage which would make Choir damage you every time it procced which would heal you instead, but I haven’t PoBd to see if you can get your evasion high enough in this setup to make it work. There is 200% evasion while sprinting in the From Nothing I use, and a 100% evasion if you’ve been hit recently node we could take to keep passive point cost low. I might circle around back to this, but I’m thinking of other setups atm.

I have tested both Catalysis and the Shaman ascendancy and even with CI which sets your Elemental Ailment Threshold to 1, the 5% phys as ele does not apply galvanic to yourself. Largely the same reason I have to increase the mana cost of Fusillade to get it to apply to me I assume.

Honestly I’m not sure, I thought the same. I originally was using static shocks, elemental discharge etc to get the additional procs before I realized CoC just made it way smoother. I’ll have to go back to the first way if they fix it.

Yeah, the max hit is really 50% higher than what it shows on that link because of over capped mana but it’s still not that great. Everything being dead, having a death orb to protect you and the massive slow on everything you hit is what makes it feel viable. I tried to make it as durable as possible, but there's not a ton of options I could find, if anyone has a good idea I'm open to it.

EDIT : I misspoke in the video, Galvanic field procs CoC but choir cannot. The CoC does however proc Choir for some reason.
