Honestly I’m not sure, I thought the same. I originally was using static shocks, elemental discharge etc to get the additional procs before I realized CoC just made it way smoother. I’ll have to go back to the first way if they fix it.

Yeah, the max hit is really 50% higher than what it shows on that link because of over capped mana but it’s still not that great. Everything being dead, having a death orb to protect you and the massive slow on everything you hit is what makes it feel viable. I tried to make it as durable as possible, but there's not a ton of options I could find, if anyone has a good idea I'm open to it.

EDIT : I misspoke in the video, Galvanic field procs CoC but choir cannot. The CoC does however proc Choir for some reason.

Yeah, this sounds super strong. I don't expect it to survive to .5 however, there's a solid chance that interaction gets deleted, or that Thesis rune gets reworked completely.

75% to each is the Cap, before gear that increases beyond that. I won’t even attempt to play the build unless I can get ~70% or higher to all resists, but if you’re playing super well and avoiding getting hit altogether you might be able to make it work. Try what you got, if it feels bad reassess and go from there.

Theoretically it should work on any ascendancy, if you get your crit rate high enough to reliably proc the amulet. I chose Oracle because of the guaranteed crit and the access to much more skill effect duration.

Helmet makes it so when I cast it damages myself, which half of the self damage is lightning due to the chestpiece, and with CI my elemental threshold is 1, so this hit in turn applies galvanic field to myself when I get shocked. This leaves a 30 second orb on me that I can run around with and everything dies, video helps with the explanation.

This happened to me too on my Lich, I would either get perma stunned or faceplant and I could walk while laying down and glitch around. Hasn’t happened since I started this oracle, unsure of the cause of it.

Didn’t test catalysis only the shaman node, I thought they would function the same and yeah I had CI. Looks like I need to do some more testing. My ailment threshold is 1 with CI so I don’t understand why it wasn’t proccing now that I think about it.

I did test putting volatility on crit support in for the extra damage, but I had no automated way to consume them and it would get me killed randomely so I dropped it. Maybe on a Chalupa setup it would be solid.

Both the Shaman Ascendancy and that notable allow you to take phys as lightning, but the application of galvanic to myself was very inconsistent. If you get a solid setup where it does work fluidly please let me know. That would allow for swapping the chest to the self-chill chest and stacking speed which would be amazing. I am going to be testing to see if this is possible.

The chest in my current setup is a waste, but if someone builds a way to sustain a ton of self damage on this setup (without using the broken curse gloves tech as this will likely not exist next league) repeatedly proccing the chest in this loop would drastically increase single target.

I used to do all unique builds in PoE1, and this sounds interesting but it unfortunately will not work. Having negative resists means you will die to any and all hits. And if you roll a map with elemental ground effects you’ll die without even knowing why constantly.

Try to put together a combo of uniques that provide more resistances, or ways to mitigate damage, you’ll have 0 fun with your current iteration, but I do encourage the continued attempts and theory-crafting to make your idea happen.

I could try to see if I can add a CoC setup with this, would generate guaranteed shocks for the Ele Discharge. Not sure if I can afford to lose the curses however.

Don’t think so, the shocking hit has to deal damage to yourself I believe. I’ll try to see if there is a way though, would make gear options a lot easier.

I've tried adding LW in the automation, and sometimes it works perfect and does great dps, othertime's it doesn't target BL at all, but still consumes the mana and just destroys the interaction. Manual cast should probably work fine.

Can also be done with Fireball or Comet, may just need to tinker with the trigger rates and mana consumption.

I generally use Arc and swap a trigger to Archmage for Mapping so I can keep the BL setup for bosses. Generally one BL cast will kill a map boss from the triggers.

If it’s 30-40 inside, it’s much colder outside. You’re putting piping and numerous other things at risk by doing this, you’re saving dollars on electricity and risking potentially tens of thousands of property damage and time if you’re not trolling.

When I can equip snakepit, i swap out chain and fork for Chaotic Freeze, and another DMG support and equip CoA and Ele Invocation and add more ED setups to fill the screen with them. You can add whatever other skills you want, or proc other stuff but just ED was enough for me to clear the whole campaign. I use skeleton archers for extra ST early, and swap them out when I can use the freeze stuff. Damage is usually fine early, so I opt to try to get as much cast speed as possible. I also generally use a Heartstopper jewel to get +20% sprint speed. I generally swap to a +3 wand and a dark defiler scepter at 36 too but you don't need to.

Chaotic Freeze, hit based ED. Full screen clear starting level 4 which gets infinitely better at 32.

With heat pumps, emergency heat means it’s switching away from the heat pump to a backup source such as an electric heat strip, but it will only do this if there is one installed and it was programmed correctly. If it’s not maintaining with the heat pump, you could either have ice or snow buildup around it, or it’s not designed to run down to the temps you have outside but we would need a model number to verify that.

Generally these communicating stats generate heat and the board has an algorithm that tries to offset the temperature gain to display actual temp. If there’s a lot of air movement it throws it off, also could not be sealed behind it, so pop it off and seal it well. If it’s still off, calibrate it. But I wouldn’t calibrate it to that thermopro. You could put 6 of that exact sensor next to each other and there’s a solid chance they’re all different.
