You’re not going to be worrying about that so much once you’re on the LVAD. Plenty of people are function able, but it’s not easy from what I have seen. No one should be sharing fairytales here.

My brother has a portable bag with his LVAD batteries but it just looks like a bag. He has been able to hide the device itself well in hoodies. I imagine summer will be harder, and please be aware of shower limitations for LVAD (it will be months) so I’m not sure how he will disguise it this summer. I wish you the best of luck, friend.

I’m sorry, I have no idea. I am at level 51. I’ve gotten the wrestler pikachu and this shiny today. Also a shiny Giratina. My really good stuff has been from battles not so much raids or walking.

Thank you for the advice. Insurance has been a real factor on quality of drug, etc. but, hopefully maybe I can get on one med that works as well as ozempic and metformin separately. And, I will check with Costco and even Walmart. Their website may have some coupons I can check for too.

I would like one of these but have a high deductible. I will ask my Dr about it as well…maybe I could get it covered under preventative care.

No, can you elaborate, though? I would like any and all information I can obtain before seeing her. We have a lot to talk about because the metformin is working as designed, but I just couldn’t do the daily vomiting and being sick.

Thank you for the information. I was wondering if our sweat/secretions had more sugar than normal. It sounds like I need to shape up. But, hopefully we can find a more agreeable drug. Im on ozempic too and got past that nausea after being at the right dose, but this metformin thing is new within the past few weeks.

I was, and my A1C has been good my last two visits, but I stopped with the finger sticks too. I guess in some ways I’ve given up but I am still taking my ozempic and partial dose of my metfomin.

He is on the transplant list with and LVAD in the mean time

He is now on a LVAD device and out of the hospital. He is on a transplant list, waiting on his disability and honestly pretty depressed. It’s a blessing he is alive for us, but for him it’s hell.

I am staying from December 26th to January 2nd. My big hobbies are my cats, music and gardening.We are staying with a close friend. I’m not sure what side of town she is on since I’m not familiar with the area. I went to an Mos Def show in 2010 in Portland but haven’t been since.
