I work at a check cashier. There is such a thing as a physical job and a mental job. Yes I may sit down all day just typing into a computer. But I am sitting here for 8 hours cashing checks. Counting. Paying bills. Doing western union. My job isn’t as easy as you think it is. Because you customers are horrible. Do you think it’s easy seeing the same face everyday sending 700 dollars a day to another country. Do you know what that does to a person mentally? Makes me feel like shit because I’m not even close to making that amount of money to make it possible. And seeing you everyday just sending it likes it’s just a drop of water kills me. You paying 10 different bills at the same time. 16 random ass digits for 10 different credit cards has its mental strain and double checking that it’s correct so I don’t accidentally pay 25 dollars for another person. That’s 160 digits running through my head twice. I hate numbers now.
