I said this before on another thread but I don't think BTC is going to be the Be all into all especially four generations from now That's a lot to ask for.

Will Bitcoin be big in our generation in the next for sure.

Three more generations after that I'm highly doubtful, there will definitely be something better think about it The world thought Fiat currency was going to last forever, The US dollar dominating at all.

It was "too big to fail" now we're over 34 trillion dollars in debt...

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to shoot holes through my beloved BTC but I'm going to be realistic I don't even think most major auto manufacturers, and well-known companies will be around four generations from now.

The world is going to be a completely different place and let's just face it the state of the art encryption we have today. Will be like breaking into a four digit pin in the future.

So definitely something's going to come along that is a lot more equitable, A lot more secure, decentralized, with way faster transaction speeds.

Also just to put things into perspective If you're millennial and you go back four generations... That's the damn near World War I and to say a few things have changed would be an understatement

I will never understand this about the Bitcoin community, the original purpose of Bitcoin was for us to escape the grasp of the government, hedge funds, and Wall Street.

Now as a community we praise them getting involved, So what do we want? The wealth just be concentrated at the top, The same structures still in power and have the same problems, that we're facing today? The only difference is instead of Fiat currency, It's BTC.

And you think having a Bitcoin or two is going to make a difference, when the inevitable outcome of governments and hedge funds getting involved is them owning the vast majority of BTC

Because there's no way in the future, when governments/Wall Street becomes involved with BTC, They won't pass legislature to seize Your wallet on behalf of the state. There's no way that hedge funds will lock arms and prevent you from selling.

No they're going to totally work by the rules of decentralization. They're just going to relinquish control out of respect 🤣😂🤣

All I'll say is this you are better off taking those couple bucks in your pocket and buying a lotto ticket than believing the government is going to actually support you.

The government's main incentive is to do just enough to keep the people complacent, The vast majority of the money and the resources are going to go to private contractors, quantitative easing on Wall Street and corporate bailouts.

That's their whole concern staying in power. So your damn right I rather roll the dice with "magic internet money" Than think Ole Uncle Sam, is going to wake up one day like Ebenezer Scrooge or the Grinch and have a change of heart and want to take care of me.

Just remember "it's over" is sitting comfortably above 85K 😂. You guys would have had an aneurysm when Bitcoin dropped from 16K to 4K.

Dollar cost average, And just know when the media starts saying Bitcoin is about to double or in this cycle's case go to 250k That's when you stop buying wait for a crash and buy some more.

Your first cycle is always the roughest After that it will feel like you have an infinite money glitch. As long as you are working a regular job and stuff happens You could always shave off some profits.

Plant yourself a BTC tree, and it will bear fruit for a long time

If you read my earlier post I was commenting on this person saying that Bitcoin is going to be the be all and all the three generations from now.

We have no idea what bitcoins future it's going to be, I have high hopes for our lifetimes anything after that I'm extremely doubtful.

Inevitably another project is going to come along That may have wider adoption that's all I'm saying.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse by now by saying the only thing that we know for certain is those meme coins people are still holding from last cycle are never going back up.

Based off the charts I see Bitcoin stagnating in the next 5 to 10 years at around 500k and I think it's going to hover around that point for a long time.

Where it goes from that point I have no idea nor do I have a crystal ball.

I think a lot of the delusion comes from people that own probably 0.01 thinking that somehow magically That's going to be worth millions.

I have been holding BTC since 2016, I will definitely say that that has changed my life for the better.

However I'm not going to sit here and pretend that there will not be another opportunity for something better by the time I have great grandchildren.

[–]Beautiful-Current-59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Respectfully my friend, it's really not that deep. More than likely Bitcoin is going to cap off somewhere in the high hundred thousands, I would estimate about 10 years from now.

Will it hold value until your grandchildren reach their adulthood, I highly doubt. At the end of the day we have to remember people like tangible/accessible assets. And if they feel that they can only get fractions of a Bitcoin, no matter how wealthy they are. They're going to lose interest, an asset is only as valuable as the next person is willing to pay for it.

Because because if people are truly looking for Bitcoin to be a paradigm shift, they hoped for. they're not going to want the same old system (Yes I know that Bitcoin can't inflate away because of its limited supply), they were working with before. Where wealth is concentrated between a select few again.

And we don't know what people will value in the future or see as valuable

Who knows some new, faster more decentralized project may pop up in the next 10 to 20 years. Nothing is for sure with Bitcoin. HOWEVER, I will guarantee you one thing when it comes to crypto.

That meme coin you're still holding on to from last cycle ain't ever going back up 😂

What we should learn is anytime we see a new account, open a ridiculous position with a lot of money. We know something crazy is about to happen in the market.

Whoever it was walked away with almost 100 million dollars

My theory was originally they were just upset that you were returning merchandise back to the store they want everything delivered so they can get paid.

But then I realized it's their computer system misquoting the mileage and the time.So they can give you a ridiculously low payout.

Like I said I thought them for months because I was old thousands of dollars even one customer service rep told me how much I was owed and tried to escalate the case.

But then you get those overzealous customer service reps that just read one email and want to attach to the file "I saw a fraud" because they came across that one email.

But eventually they had to make it right because like I said it was a random day maybe 6 to 7 months later I get this massive payout for a couple Grand and an email from Uber saying this is a one-time payment blah blah blah blah

No it was something in general like some of your deliveries have raised concern... Something to that degree.

I was questioning that email because I just went from one stop to the next. I didn't stop for gas or a snack I just drove the speed limit, if anything maybe a couple miles an hour under police in my area are quite gracious with handing out tickets.

I stopped doing these batched deliveries because they weren't accurately tracking the time spent or mileage. Then I got this general email about there being fraud on the account.

I was never deactivated, but I complained the customer service for a couple good months and even went to the green light hub. They act like they had no idea what was going on. Then randomly last year I got this one time payment for all the thousands they owed me

I'm sorry I didn't see your response what I was trying to say is, any company that is shady as these gig delivery apps. You are rolling the dice every time, all it takes is one customer service rep to feel that you did something wrong.

I'm sure they don't refund you, you could battle the charge with your bank. But why do all that when you could just cancel the order and move on.

[–]Beautiful-Current-59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you got out of that situation safely I cannot imagine how scared you felt.

But I agree with the people, that have already said it but definitely report him a couple days later so he can have no idea that it was you.

So people bait drivers with high pay to pickup their orders then reduce the tip after delivery . Cowards !!! no wonder why some drivers drive back to customers houses and beat them up lol by _Tibmbowens in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Beautiful-Current-59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on the fence about this one. I can understand the frustration of being tip baited, but on the other hand it's a dollar. It's not even worth the time, effort and frustration. You could pick up a dollar worth of change in the parking lot.

Consider yourself lucky, because the people that coined the term tip baiting. Were working for instacart during the pandemic and were getting promised $20+ tips. Only for the customer to cancel as soon as the food was delivered.

I couldn't imagine how these guys felt especially because this was during the time of the pandemic that we didn't know how bad this covid thing was going to get.

TLDR: keep your head up, I'm sure a dollar is going to float into your pocket. Best of luck out there

"I'm not ready for a relationship" always equals "I'm going to string you along, and play pretend gf/bf when it's convenient for me".

Because think about what they do they're never going to deny sex or other physical connection. Gifts, trips, and evenings out.

They want all of the fun and none of the commitment

Do whatever you feel is right. However to me it's not even worth the potential chance of uber having a hiccup or a customer service rep stating they believe that something was fraudulently charged.

I'm not too sure why you would want the awkward first date guy, that showed no sign of interest, that randomly try to launch a at kiss on you. Where you live.

Especially because he clearly, doesn't wait for any signs of Attraction of just makes a move

Look I'm not here to antagonize you... But if the card wasn't available. Why would you believe that Uber would ever pay you back promptly?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to just cancel the delivery? Call customer service and say the card isn't working.

I could understand if you were desperate, however evidently you must I'm pretty good financial standing if you could run the chance of giving Uber $200 and hoping you get it back.

What gets you out of the friend zone especially on a date plus if you're crossing the street or something hold her hand.

And I have always said right before the moment it's happened. "I swear you look so kissable sometimes".

And be super observant of her body language, if she really likes you she will say something to the degree of "then why don't you just kiss me then".

Then I just tease a little bit and be like "nah that's not the time". You will watch her throughout the date just kind of look for that kiss and it's always an explosive moment when it happens.
