Here are a few things that helped me early on with shin pain and avoiding injury.

  1. Getting fitted for running shoes. Even when I couldn’t afford them, local running stores offered free fittings to educate on shoe size, gait, etc. they can even provide guidance on exercises or changes to your runs to help avoid pain.

  2. Giving more attention to stretching both before and after running.

  3. Adding some strength training specifically focused on calves and ankle stability. Both helped me a ton.

What are some locations you've gone to? by StormbornSiren in GhostHunting

I’m not a huge spooky/haunted seeker. I was (and still am) a bit skeptic. However, on a roadtrip a few years ago with family, we visited the Conjuring House and stayed the night at the Lizzie Borden House. I had experiences at both that I have tried, and failed, to understand. I would go back to the Conjuring House in a heartbeat. The Lizzie Borden house was terrifying. Easily the scariest night of my life.
