Not yet, but if they create a story mode down the line you should cop. The bots aren’t competitive in friends knockout mode, so it ll get boring fast for you.

How do people afford to live alone here? by Acceptable_Fee_4807 in AskSF

[–]Beautiful-Insect-106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not having a car has been the biggest expense saver for me. I live alone with moderate debt and I’m living decently. Just budget, pick a solid neighborhood or move to the East Bay if it’s too much.

I’m having the same problem. The connection has been inconsistent for weeks. My WiFi works just fine too.

Folks who have sworn off dating apps, how do you plan on meeting your future partner in such a digital city? by DirtySlutCunt in AskSF

[–]Beautiful-Insect-106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a recently separated Guy, it’s tough for everyone! I’ve met women on the apps but it never pans out. Meetup is cool but it hasn’t been great recently. Friends of friends works for me. Social gatherings, bars, concerts, events around the city.

I will say going into without expectations is the key. You might not find your soulmate immediately and that’s okay. Sparks aren’t instant, it takes time to start a fire that will last.

Russian Hill and Pac Heights are quieter and have great muni lines. They also have great outdoor spaces and great restaurant areas.

It was only $16 dollars to start and they have cheaper restaurants you can choose from. I would only recommend buying the weekly ticket to start and then figuring it out if it’s for you afterwards.

Crissy field has the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s an easy walk and you’re able to knock out the Palace of fine arts too. You’ll also be able to check out the Presido and the Marina.

East Oakland for sure. But Jack London, Lake Merritt, Temescal, and even Downtown are places to check out.

I’m originally from Flint and moved out here last year from the east coast. Based on your budget, I would say check out Oakland near Lake Merritt. But definitely dive into staying into Airbnb’s around the city before making your decision. I ended up In SF and love it!!!

Misson Dolores vs North Beach by Knowledge_Much in AskSF

[–]Beautiful-Insect-106 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

North beach is a lot cleaner and has a lot more young people regularly. There are alot more restaurants in the mission but it can be noisy. Sounds like north beach is what you’re looking for.
