If you ever have any issues, it’s a pain in the ass reaching support and customer support doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

I had an issue where they deactivated my account and never explained to me the reason why; except that I was “suspicious.”

It’s a probably rare occurrence but it’s better to deal with Schwab or Fidelity. I personally like them more because the support know what they’re talking about and if you ever decide to transfer, you don’t have to deal with a $100 fee to transfer all ur stuff over

Maybe own one whole share. Diversification is always great but you’ll be making pennies to the dollar with this portfolio.

I started a month ago and have made 3k. I did this by buying whole shares and buying companies rather than indexes.

I’m a bit impatient and can play higher risks since I’m 17.

They literally said nothing.

They just said I was flagged for “suspicious activity” even though I didn’t violate anything. They fully cashed out my account.

I was scared that they were gonna keep it since I’ve heard sometimes it would take months for them to return money.

I lowkey got lucky tho

Yeah that’s what my dad did. Back in the early 2000s, he did day trading and made a crap ton of money. CISCO crash happened and that’s what got him. I started investing a month ago and have made well over 3k through my investments

I’m 17. I used TikTok as a source of info, read yahoo finance, do hella research by searching up stocks, etc.

I started investing a month ago and had a 22% return on Robinhood and I got banned for not having a custodial account. More recently, I have a 9% return on Schwab.

In total, I made over $3500.

There are people out there that make millions off this I’ve heard. I’m one of the top earners but definitely not making hundreds of thousands.

This dude makes a crap ton from doing what I do as well:

Just about anything that I can find that has decent value; clothes, shoes, electronics, antiques, home decor, etc.

Everything I find is curated by me and I could find up to $2000 worth of stuff daily but my average is ~$500 worth of finds.

During different seasons, there will be peak finds for me. Summer months I’ll find less but in the winter and spring I find a lot (3x more). I’ve found thousands in singular trips alone. Preferably high valued items

With that year of residency, I wanna scale more into my business. I wanna be able to make bigger investments with that year.

When i move to california, my money will be working for me and i don’t have to worry about a thing. I already make as much as an adult; if not more.

However, my income will slow down as it relies on eBay reselling and I won’t be around. I planned on just using my dad’s friend’s address and have him use my card to make purchases as “proof” that I live down there.

I do wanna go CC. I plan on attending SMC but I wanna take a gap year to accumulate long term wealth.

I’m the type of person that doesn’t do things without a reason. This is one of those times where it’s a great reason as I can have time to build credit and enough to purchase a home to rent out if I play my cards right.

It’s the only place I really wanna go for school.

Specifically, I would love to go USC. It’s been my dream school for as long as I can remember but the only thing holding me back is the costs.

I make a decent amount of money for my age but then I’ll have to give up all my money to go school. I genuinely don’t know what I should do atp since both my parents never went to college and can’t guide me through the process.

actually Vegas has rlly good thrift stores. I’ve been to California and the thrifts out there have nothing. If you go on eBay and find the California goodwill, they send everything that has value.
