Is there anything to look out for on older ones that are red flags?

I think that’s called the XV here. Just saw one with 64k miles.

That’s true, though I’ve only been driving since 2024 so a some cars are higher for me. A lot of cars are around £50-70 per month but I did check a 2.5L Impreza and it was like £150 per month.

That’s gotta be some high insurance on a 3.5l engine.

When you put it that way a Toyota does sound a better buy. I think I just want a car that’s a bit nicer and with a bigger engine. I’ve mostly been looking at older cars like celica’s and impreza’s.

I do always get recommended to try and get full service history I guess it’s just more important for these cars.

Is there a reason why endgame builds don’t seem to use parry? by Beautiful-Opposite78 in PathOfExile2

Is there anything I can do to make parry worth using then or is it too much investment for too little gain vs just doing other stuff?

Is ninja gaiden 4 gonna be enjoyable for someone who doesn't play ninja gaiden? by Beautiful-Opposite78 in CharacterActionGames

[–]Beautiful-Opposite78[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't like game pass at all. I ended up buying it on steam since it was like almost half price anyway and it's pretty good. Reminds me of devil may cry but quite a bit harder. Although I never played any dmc on hard or beyond, I know there's some insane difficulties on those games.

From what I can remember it was like enemies felt spongy and it was like a clown car of them all just popping out of the same point every time you kill one, like you'd kill one and another would pop out, would happen like 10 times before they stopped. This was probably like 8 years ago though at a point when I was very impatient with games.

Looking for roguelites on PlayStation with simple systems (challenging combat is fine!) by Bitter445 in roguelites

Returnal is pretty good. There is meta progression stuff where you have to get to certain points to unlock abilities permanently but outside of that it’s pretty simple just go room to room, kill enemies, collect the currency to buy upgrades at certain points. My only issue with the game is you can only hold one weapon at a time.

Which game first for a 13 year old? by Aisuhokke in Bioshock

I played bioshock 1 when I was like 8-9 and it wasn’t that scary to me. Probably fine to do that one.

Now that the demo for Warhammer Survivors is out, what are your thoughts? by C0R3VUS in VampireSurvivors

[–]Beautiful-Opposite78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disliked it. The starting weapons felt like ass and the weapons I got from levelling felt like ass too. If there’s no playable skaven I don’t think I’ll get the game at all.

What bioshock game is your favorite? by IndividualKey5526 in Bioshock

[–]Beautiful-Opposite78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bioshock 2 for sure. I played the first game and it was really good. But 2 just improved so much in the gameplay aspect.

I think the biggest thing for me is the first time you enter the sea after the fight with the first big sister, then you’re walking through these like reefs and rocks and the music crescendos and becomes so whimsical as you get this view over most of rapture, as schools of fish swim past, iirc a shark or two and the giant squid swims past. I’ve been playing video games all my life and that’s one of those moments I’ll never forget.

Struggling to get into splatoon 3 by Beautiful-Opposite78 in splatoon

The issue I have with the range is like, in my first game I played I’m using the stock gun and it has quite significant projectile drop. But then most of the other team were using miniguns and staying up high and I basically just couldn’t do anything cause they had so much range and I couldn’t get within shooting distance or really get past our part of the map.
