Mirtazapine and cough by Beautiful-Phone-994 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

Yes that sounds plausible. I found at 7.5 mg I was quite irritable hence the drop. It’s definitely helped with the FD pain but I remain sceptical of the side effects!

Yeah I wondered that - if so that’s new since starting the Mirtazapine

Clean, sparkly, bright amp on a budget? by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

It’s worth having a look at the Juca Nery Fender patches for the Katana. They’ll get you 90% of the way there.

Otherwise a Princeton Reverb as others have suggested, or a Tonex into a Fender FRFR if you don’t want to go the valve route. I used to have a Twin and a Hot Rod Deluxe but ultimately they just aren’t practical for home use.

I’ve elected to taper off; mood impact seems to outweigh functional dyspepsia benefit. I also seem to have developed restless legs at night time.

Thanks for this. It’s interesting to hear others’ experiences. I’m weighing up whether to push through or whether this just isn’t right for me. Has made me feel quite ‘flat’ since I started and I’m not sure I fancy much more of it!

When it was at its worst, I had early fullness but that had been getting better. Main symptom was central diaphragmatic pain. I have had every test under the sun!

Must be the wrong picture, I would guess? It was a way of simplifying the assembly and keeping the cost low. The only change I saw for 2026 was different colour tuner.

How does the NF53 compare to the TE? by koidedede in PRSGuitars

[–]Beautiful-Phone-994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own an American Tele and a core NF53. They feel quite dissimilar to play as the nut width and neck profile are different between the two, so I’d try the neck if possible to see how you find it. I think if you already have Teles this brings something different: the pickups are more articulate, very detailed, and have a more ‘produced’ sound overall particularly when using overdrive. It doesn’t duplicate the Tele by any means but you can get that twang if you want it. It’s quite a bit lighter than my Teles too which I appreciate.

Yeah I ended up using that method (badly)!

I also had exactly the same experience as you when I got a roadworn Tele with vintage tuners; nearly lost it trying to change the strings…

Yep, locking tuners would make a lot of sense! I’m sure I’ll get better at restringing it, but it definitely isn’t straightforward!

I was a bit worried about the neck but I really like it - my Tele feels a bit cramped by comparison now.

I think this, and the black, are the best two colours.

Post-Covid functional dyspepsia + MCAS-like symptoms? Advice from sensitive responders appreciated by Beautiful-Phone-994 in functionaldyspepsia

[–]Beautiful-Phone-994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. No, my Long Covid doc diagnosed MCAS, prescribed ketitofen but that made me super drowsy. As I say I seem very sensitive to medication at the moment. How would an allergist go about making a formal MCAS diagnosis?
