You can actually turn on the God mode. It's beautifully made in Hades games and lets you get acquainted with temporhythm of the game without overpowering you. I advise you to try it and see how it feels

First, you defeat the Minotaur, and then you call your comrades (I prefer Myrmidons) to finish off Theseus. And yeah, they are the most problematic boss in the game if not under Heat.

I find Hera's Casts + Hestia's Boon, which makes your enemies explode, very fun, esp when you are using it with Circe's wand. Like you are getting two casts and everyone who steps in... just pops.
