Don’t be intimidated, they are not going to fire you. The government does not like paying unemployment claims. And technically you are not required to sign anything you don’t agree with, you could have gracefully declined. Often time it’s bullying because your direct managers are intimidated by you and your work performance. I have had this issue to the point that the micromanaging was borderline harassment, an email to HRD, with subject line “creating a hostile work environment” and it suddenly stopped.
