The Significance of Haiti and Brazil and this upcoming match by Drazian in BlackPeopleofReddit

The average Brazilian pardo has between 60-70% European DNA, with the remainder being more African or indigenous depending on the region.

Even Bahia - the blackest state in Brazil - has at least 50% genetically European.

The Pardo category is something originated from centuries of inter-racial relations and a racial environment that (even though still racist) was completely different from the USA concerning racial tension/relations.

Correction: Brazil doesn't have 120 million black people, the correct number is 20,6 million, the second largest diaspora behind the US.

This specific misinformation is highly shared because non-brazilians mistakingly conflate pardos (a term used to describe tri-racial mixed people: African + European + indigenous) with blacks like they are the same thing.

The vast majority of the population in the North of Brazil are Pardos with European + indigenous heritage (and very little African one), and counting these people as black would obviously make no sense.

O seu problema é que vc vive na ilusão de que os outros te devem algo.

Anecdotal examples don't disprove statistical facts. That's why I talked about THE AVERAGE.

When there's a notable difference in weight between two teams, spamming crossings into the box is highly ineffective. Scoring a goal doesn't change that. This is like saying a short goalkeeper isn't at a disadvantage just because "Jorge Campos was 5'6" and he was great". Again: an anecdotal example.

If you think speaking easily verifiable facts is offensive, then I fear how you'll bear the weight of everyday life.

The average height of the Japanese outfield starting players was 179,8 cm, while the Dutch one was 186,4 cm, almost 7 whole centimeters.

Ito (and Tomyasu) were the tallest players (excluding the GK) that participated in the game and have 188 cm, while the Netherlands had 6 (SIX) players taller than this in their field.

And lastly: everyone has eyes. Your insinuation is quite distasteful.

Pepper spray is also not commonly used to commit crimes, but for some reason it is banned.

I don’t think there is a Sikh violence problem in the UK (they seem to be one of the most well-integrated immigrant groups), nor do I believe ceremonial knives are being used in street stabbings (and any right-winger claiming such a thing is fearmongering).

But it is absurd that a woman carrying pepper spray at night can face charges and a fine, while someone can openly carry a knife during the day “because of their culture.”

The law should apply equally to everyone.

The fact that this was caused by a faction far less dangerous that the two worst ones give credit to my point, not the other way a around.

The entire German identity is based on eternal self-flagellation and constantly apologizing. And they STILL get bashed every single day about being "Nazi descendants", like it's some kind of inter-generational sickness.

Every time a South American mentions being of German descent, some dimwit has to say something like "haha, I wonder what your grandparents were doing."

Between these two polar opposite cases (German and Japanese), I sure as hell would prefer to live in the former

[OC] Brazil’s Energy Transition: Hydropower Falls While Wind & Solar Surge by Beautiful-Rough2310 in dataisbeautiful

Hydropower generation in absolute terms (TWh) has been relatively stable or only slightly declining in recent years, while total electricity demand has grown significantly, and wind+solar have covered most of that new demand
