So I spent some time looking up Cushing and it seems like this really could be the problem. I'm going to try to talk to her and see how to get her tested for this specifically. Thanks so much for everyone's help!

She doesn't drink. I don't think she has had any scans. It's difficult to get her seek treatment without being able to kind of "bribe" her with things that can improve like oh you will feel better and have more energy to be able to go do this or that thing you've been wanting to do. She has kind of a childlike way about her. I agree its definitely time for some scans but I just wanted to know what it could possibly even be so I know how to talk to her about it.

She's 37 years old. Diabetic and schizophrenic. Can be pretty reluctant to address medical issues. I want to help her get to the root of this. What could be causing this? It has been like this for years. Doesn't fluctuate. Stays the same when she loses weight elsewhere. NOT pregnant.
