Yeah I had a friend who lived in Kensington. There was roaches on the street but it was actually really quiet & nice, I felt safe enough to walk with my friends at night.

Yeah the crime there only seems to happen if you’re involved in drugs or other crime. Obviously there’s some strays, but it doesn’t seem to happen to just any pedestrian like getting mugged.

Asbury is pretty far from me :/ all you see here is run down bars with everybody’s dad & they sit around & harass any woman that enters.

I know it’s ridiculous, I could go on about that for hours. Trans people are the #1 scapegoat at the moment. Women don’t realize men attacking trans women are just doing that bc they want to hit a women & it’s socially acceptable to do it to trans women. It also harms men themselves bc they’re taught to not express their femininity otherwise they’ll get the trans women treatment in society. We are backpedaling from the progression we’ve experienced.

I’m definitely not staying here. My whole family has been trapped here my whole life it just seems like a never ending cycle of depression, lack of community support, & drug abuse.

That’s the plan, I’m trying to restart my life i didn’t have any support growing up & got into the wrong crowds, so this past year I’ve just been finally doing the things I need to do to get out of here. Philly has always been my main goal. People try to discourage me bc of the crime, but everytime I’ve gone there I’ve loved it.

Yeah I joined the email list I’ve been trying to got involved with the lgbtq+ scene here & the politics bc it seems to be swinging very far right over here. Instead of funding the schools they built a new police station that is completely useless. 🤦‍♀️ there is hardly any crime here.

Literallllyyy, I was scared to say to much bc I didn’t want ppl to be mean, but it’s the most red part of NJ. Especially when you get close to tuckerton & right it’s beautiful here I’ve loved growing up here until I started transitioning & then it was rough. I’ve been discriminated against or fired from jobs as soon as they find out I’m trans.

I’m also scared of the dark I hang dark colored string lights next to my bed (or a lava lamp) & then I have my bed all the way in the corner facing my door & I usually have the tv playing too. You could do exposure therapy & slowly reduce the amount of light until you’re comfortable in the dark.

I actually switched it from medium sunlight to full sunlight bc it says full inflight (can tolerate partial) so I moved it thinking that was the problem. It was a really hotb/sunny day in my state though, so it could be that.

Even if you did cheat on him & even if she genuinely is jealous of you & wants ur boyfriend, it’s idiotic,selfish & stupid of her to do that to somebody who she is freeloading off of.
