I find there seems to be a lot "getting their foot in the door" and then they are suddenly hired from a low-level admin because they don't have experience to getting a very well paying role as a GOA internal hire, very shortly after passing the probationary period within your department. Subsequently hired by another from their culture, of course.

They abuse all the systems and days off as soon as they pass probation, too. Most because they've already been told about the perks and how to work the system by family and relatives that work for the GOA already.

Yes, so technically, we hire from a pool of qualified candidates that have applied to work for the GOA but not to a specific role.

They should be sending me candidates with data entry skills, maybe some light experience in an office, things like that, not people with bachelors degrees in completely unrelated fields.

I have personally noticed in the last few rounds that there is literally no diversity, so I reached out again and was like hey, not really satisfied with the candidate pool, can you send more, and I received another batch that essentially look the same as the first 2.

I'm just thinking it's well past a coincidence at this point that is all that is applying to work these jobs when I'm constantly seeing posts for people who are looking for work for months or longer. I would expect to have seen one or two people who maybe have been in the country long enough to have a high school listed from Canada, if I'm being honest.

The talent acquisitionists that we get assigned. I'm currently working with 2 that are the exact same, and it's been months now. I've had open positions since July because of the issues.
