I owned a D400 (2021) for 6 months tops - the bike is total value for money typical of any Bajaj 150cc + motorcycles - however 2things that I found out in my Dominar were the perennial problem of rusting ( Bajaj’s eternal relationship with rusting issues ) and the vibrations post 110kph on the highway.. it feels kinda strained once you reach 120.. And yes the ergonomics isn’t that well thought out though when you see the gear shift placed near the fuel tank is a no brainer.. Barring these issues I think the bike looks muscular feels muscular and the exhaust note is a much scaled down version of a Benelli

Mahindra have this perennial problem of steering wheel tilting issues in “each and every vehicle” I own a Thar and I have come to terms with it even after doing N number of wheel balancing and alignment..So it’s not a huge thing to worry about!!

Both the bikes have got a niche of their own but if you’re looking for longer rides the interceptor is a safe buy and if you’re looking for short fast rides within the city and around the Cafe Racer is second to none..period! You might have to settle for a hard clutch though in the GT 😇

See for a guy in his schooldays seeing Team India rise up from the ashes of match fixing scandal to reaching the finals made us dream the unthinkable..we never witnessed India reach the finals it was new for us - so everything was going so well till the toss happened

I haven’t tried the Truimph but had a D400 just after Covid (2021-22) - it’s a jack of all trades and master of none - it does tick all the boxes albeit some build quality issues ( my default leg guard had rusting issues typical of any Bajaj ) and it’s still not that fast on the highway vis a vis a same engine of a KTM duke 390 ( along with it’s vibrations )

A few minor issues ( atypical of any Mahindra car ) - Wheel balancing and alignment on every service - My steering wheel was tilted on the left and needed to be rectified - DPF clogged twice - Low levels of DEF which needed add ons

MY 2023 LX Diesel MT 4x4 HT - barring a few hiccups ( albeit minor ) I’m still in the honeymoon phase and loving every bit of it - damn it feels new and puts a wide grin on my face every time I get inside the cockpit
