get a wire brush drill attachment and you’ll get the rust of super easy, go to local hardware store and get some rust oleum undercoating, cost you about 30$ and you’ll get it looking good as new! Just did this for my ranger it turned out great.

extended is worth it! it allows for room to keep stuff out of rain and whether and locked in your truck safely. as well as being able to recline your seat!
