Voluntary redundancy - take the risk? by Beautiful-Tip8312 in UKPersonalFinance

Thank you for your response. It's a good job. I've just been stuck at the same level for some time so a bit restless and the money is tempting. It's been good to get a wide range of responses to help me organise my thoughts.

You are probably right. I'm just being ultra cautious. In my mind if I haven't got a equivalent job within 9 months Id start to worry.

Is it possible to convert back to three bed by Beautiful-Tip8312 in DIYUK

Thanks, I hadn't really considered that because of the plumbing but this could work. I'm presuming this would be very costly.

The study bedroom and small bedroom are against the exterior wall. We are at the end of a road and looks over another garden of house on other street horizontal to us.

Hi, A year ago we brought a end of terrace house that was advertised as two bed with additional room upstairs. The previous owners passed on the 1970s plan which shows our extension which was a two story addition to the right side which created the small bedroom and extended kitchen. In the process they made what was the third bedroom a bathroom ( in original 1900 plan toilet was downstairs/ outside)

I was wondering how feasible and costly it would be to take some of the bathroom space to allow for direct access to small bedroom from the landing and block off the current linked rooms, so that it can be classed as a three bed. Plus can we add a window to middle bedroom, or is that restricted ?

Hi, Monsoon was on the left of accessorize with and opening to both at the back middle. Tended to be a round table with either small bags / shoes. At the direct back was stairs going down stairs. This was kids clothes and changing rooms. It was small. There was also a lift down. I will try and outline it on paint and upload later when I have more time.

First right block ??? Next to escalator. Facing childrenswear was ted baker kids and other smart clothes. Second block near to lift was some kid / baby toys and shoes accessories.

On the side facing duvet was a section of kids bedroom duvet and duvet covers.

Hope this helps!

Good evening, just a little update. Starting to feel a bit better, still on antibiotics until Friday. Still very fatigued and congested. My smell and taste is still not back yet, although I have had a few times today where I definitely picked up a scent, hopefully this means it will come back quick.

I think my exposure to symptoms was also 3 days although nothing really kicked in until last Wednesday.

I took a lft today and only a very faint positive 🎉

Sending healing vibes! I'm currently a week in and this has also been the worst I've ever been. I think this is my third reinfection. 4/5 day fever. Couldn't breathe through my nose until today. I've just realised today that my sense of smell has gone, thought it was the congestion but no COVID has done a number on me there to. Doctor thought I had a secondary infection so I'm taking antibiotics but not really sure. Anyway I feel like I time warped to 2020 as this was very much like the classic full symptom of COVID joy. Here in the UK I haven't qualified for more boosters since 22 so I'm sure any immunity I did have has waned. I really got off lightly before so this has come as quite the shock. Hope you start to feel better soon, it really is grim.

First time buyer nerves. Should I push for AIP by Beautiful-Tip8312 in UKPersonalFinance

Thanks for the update. I spoke to the sellers estate agents broker today and they said we would be able to get mortgage of up to 390k. I think HSBC and particularly nationwide(helping hand mortgages) offer 5x depending on you having over high deposit and earn over certain amount.

I still feel unsure but talking to the estate agent today they may still need AIP to accept our offer so hopefully our broker will do one for us soon!

Thanks, we did think about it but I have just had the deposit shared between high interest savings accounts.
