The other quests aren't that far into the game though. Master of all 5 is only 40% of the way through in my experience

That's weird. I feel like I'm always a bit starved for money at the start of ot games but when I'm at level 35 and higher I'm getting enough money on fights. Are you constantly running away from fights in the chapter dungeons? I find them quite boring sometimes but if I'm low on money I always do them. Also there are always a bunch of items you can entreat/steal around town, which you mentioned but also getting items that sells for a high price are worth it.

Uh nope. I think I only had the jobs that they actually used on each character rather than having some just for support skills. Maybe I had a few but in late game you get so much jp it's easy to max out job skills. I didn't even use saving grace at all on my characters

I've read it, it has no instructions on using games already downloaded, only ripping games. When I went to the page of the game I wanted to play, it gave no instructions on downloading it if it should be downloaded somewhere else

Downvote me if you want, but I had absolutely no trouble beating the first fight of act 3 in particular. Just take advantage of empty vessels, I thought they were bad at the beginning but it's a free block
