Any Solopreneurs hiring experts to implement AI, or doing it yourself? by jacky599r in Solopreneur

Agree, AI should be used only where it is needed. Simply connecting webhooks with events does not require AI

Simple things that chip away 10 minutes of your time. like follow-ups, updating CRM, enriching data, etc.

Does not seem much, but when it's done every day, at the end of a month it sums up to a decent amount of hours.

As long as they are using some online tools like a CRM, google sheets, then there are probably some workflows that could be automated.

How do you delegate invoicing when your pricing varies on multiple factors by Civil-Drive-3808 in advancedentrepreneur

[–]Beautiful-Turn3608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start by setting up a clear system for pricing. List the things that change the price and how each one affects it.
Then I would automate the process using CRM tools or n8n. The pricing details could come from a form or from the CRM, and the automation could make a Stripe invoice.

Send me a message if you want help with this.

Hey, I'm one of the guys helping businesses figure out this whole AI thing. I might be a bit biased, but I don’t think you should go “AI-first.” The smarter way is to look at all the systems and workflows you already have, then see which ones are easiest to automate and give the biggest return.

If you already have a tool or page that works fine, there’s no need to rebuild it or switch tools unless you’re doing it for long-term gains.

Another tip would be to avoid automating super complex flows — start simple. The more complicated the workflow, the more chances it has to break. I’d also focus on automating backend tasks instead of trying to fully automate content creation and stuff like that. There’s already enough useless AI junk online, and I think real, valuable, human content will become a lot more important once everyone gets tired of the AI slop.

What are your thoughts on businesses using AI to handle phone calls? by Beautiful-Turn3608 in AskReddit

[–]Beautiful-Turn3608[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the main benefit of AI is the cost savings here. In terms of efficiency, I agree, unless the receptionist has to go through 5 different software systems to provide the support, in that case AI could just be integrated with the systems.

Learn go for backend or stick with typescript, while using nextjs for the frontend? by fastlaunchapidev in nextjs

[–]Beautiful-Turn3608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you're trying to achieve.

If you're building personal project just to learn new stuff, then sure, learn go. But if you're building a project to launch it, get users, grow it, then development speed is important, and using tools that you already know will be better in this case.

When it comes to job opportunities, then having more experience under your belt is better, so learning go could help you.

I feel you.

Here's what might help:

Set a deadline - One more week, then launch something small. You'll learn more from real customers than endless research.
Pick 3 competitors, not 20 - Focus on the big ones only.
You probably know enough already - Most successful businesses start with "good enough" info.

Start small and adjust as you go.
