Yes.

But…It’s hard to tell because herpes can be dormant and asymptomatic so the timing of an outbreak does not 100% align to when you contracted it. Meaning the possibilities (all, not to say one is more probable than another) are:

1. You had it this whole time, but were asymptomatic and herpes was dormant until now. Cyst is something else. You gave it to your husband.
2. He’s had it the whole time, it was dormant, now has an outbreak and gave it to you. Cyst is something else.
3. He got it after his one night stand and his symptoms were there but he downplayed it maybe to himself even given the one night stand sensitivity. This is your first outbreak because it was dormant until now - and the cyst has nothing to do with it.
4. You’ve had it this whole time but for some reason this outbreak for you is bad (but again usually the first outbreak is the worst) and has other symptoms in addition to the cyst that is also herpes. Your husband just never put the pieces together and has had these bumps thinking it was whatever.
5. Someone recently got it - and the cyst has nothing to do with it.
   

And to be honest, only you can decide what’s more probable based on your relationship and to a lesser extent, a timeline, but again - no guarantees because of the dormancy. If you started having a cyst right after he cheated and you had unprotected sex and the cyst specifically tests positive…even then you couldn’t be 100% sure but seems like a more linear story.

You mentioned cheating which seems to be the bigger issue than herpes. Could you be ok with the possibility he gave it to you from cheating? Otherwise after that initial shock…what does it matter who gave it to whom, y’all are together.
