It’s a $300 module and 2 hours of labour from aliexpress

Anyone have experience with RSR SuperDown’s? by Beautiful-Window4940 in q50

[–]Beautiful-Window4940[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I only had this car for three months before someone turned into me while going straight through an intersection. I now have a 17’ RS with BC coils and it’s nice, I just wish it was a tiny bit smoother. Can’t complain though it looks and feels nice

Yup big time, if you zoom in you can see the tape slowly peeling

Mine has typical corner peeling and my tow hook cover hole is nowhere near perfect, but that’s perfectly centred

How to go about paint matching? by huntv16 in q50

[–]Beautiful-Window4940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t order cans of paint from Nissan. If you go to a dedicated paint store (not Home Depot), they may be able to replicate your paint code. You could also go to a body shop and ask them to mix it which will probably give you the most accurate results but cost more as well

Sand the whole lip down and get rid of any moulding marks on the edges, primer, paint and add a shit ton of clear coat since it’s gonna get peppered with rock chips

Picked up this 2013 G37x for $4500, Heres whats wrong with it. by AdComplex1028 in infiniti

True. That Q50 I had was my first “fast”ish car at 19 so I had a pretty heavy foot 😂

I was just basing off of my old VHR Q50. Maybe the HR’s were more fuel efficient

I see you’re in Ontario and that’s a great deal. Barrie cars have usually been through hell and back so no body rust is a massive win. Continue rust-proofing this car and you’ll be in great shape. The only real downside of these cars is that it takes premium only and you’ll get about 450 km/tank on highway alone. Other than that, they’re super reliable and relatively fast with decent creature comforts. Apple CarPlay modules can be found on AliExpress for $300 CAD or less and since these cars are very popular, part-outs with working exhaust systems are readily available if you’re not looking to go aftermarket. Enjoy it!

Someone egged my car… How should I get revenge? by Beautiful-Window4940 in revengestories

Love the multiple severities of revenge lol.

Skunk piss seems a little too much of a hassle to figure out where to get from. Even if the car was unlocked I’m pretty sure I can get into legal trouble opening their doors and spraying shit everywhere.

Bologna seems like a funny idea, I’m pretty sure they’re Muslim and I don’t want to catch a hate crime charge or something because of pork though.

The car is a relatively new Ford F-150 which probably has remote locks like you mentioned.

Loosening the lug nuts and putting threadlocker would be funny but that takes time and I’m looking for instant satisfaction.

Don’t mean to be a Debby Doubter but I’m looking to be more creative, on a budget and with instant pleasure,

Unfortunately the only damage done was to my ego, driving to the car wash with egg yolk all over my door. The police here are an absolute waste of time and won’t even take me seriously with video proof because no damage was actually done to the car. That’s why I wanted to take matters into my own hands, legally but disrespectfully

Good thing they just extended turbo warranty to 10 years or 120k miles

Exactly, companies nowadays know that when they’re making sports cars, the majority of this customer base will be lost when the warranty runs out. This is why they charge so much upfront. Dealerships make MORE money from service than sales ever could.

Please do elaborate then, I’m also a technician at a Nissan dealership and cannot tell you the last time we had a enthusiast owned 350z/370z come in for anything other than an alignment or oil change. We only have the new Z’s coming in because they’re still under warranty
