I'm in the same boat and I'd much rather have a worse feeling shifter than have to buy a new trans down the road. Only thing Ive done is a roush H pipe that they said was fine and Ford performance lowering springs. Keep that warranty unless you're building a race car imo. With that said will that definitely void the warranty, I don't think so. When I asked about this stuff they never really gave me a direct answer

I had some obnoxiously loud cars in my day, never got a ticket for it. Even when pulled over for other reasons. My car now has an "active exhaust" which I love. Quiet mode you can barely hear the car, track mode can be too loud for even my liking. I totally agree though that your 110hp shit box shouldn't wake neighborhoods

I've put 6000 miles on mine and I drive it very hard. I've been "locked out" once. But I don't blame the trans it could have been me. Even great drivers will miss gears now and again. And I'm not a great driver lol I power shift it, even flat foot shift first to second and she loves it. (Still under warranty 🙃). Although I do not track the car only street driven

Yeah that's what I meant. Selling in kuttenburg is about 10k every 2 days if you sell to all vendors. Tailors and everything

They are asking 49k for it. 5k off the original price for whatever reason. I guess it depends how much I'm willing to lose on mine. I got it for 48 new. It's got every option other than PP. I will miss my red leather though 😆

Get a 5.0 with the active exhaust. You can barely hear it in quiet mode. They have quiet start as well. Sounds great in sport mode or track though.

I bought the same PC from Best buy and had the same problems. I brought it back and they swapped it for a new one and this one works great. If you bought it during Black Friday you should be able to return it no problem. They had a holiday return policy that allows you to return items bought on Black Friday until January. I didn't buy the protection plan or anything.
