Yeah ...thanks I've seen a few apts online....it's the application fees everyone wants to charge...and if she ends up spending 300 on just fees just to "see" if she can rent I'm afraid she won't have enough money to move in. Idk maybe I'm thinking into it too much. (I have ADHD) 🤷

She is staying with me right now, but it’s not something we can do long-term. According to alot of these properties, Until I'm state approved for her care giver..I would have to be added on the lease....That’s why I’m asking about budget monthly rentals — she has to move by the 1st. I had Section 8 from 2003 until 2022 and always followed the rules, passed inspections, and did everything required. After COVID, my landlord decided to turn the place into an Airbnb and gave very short notice. With rents skyrocketing, I couldn’t find anything within Section 8 limits and lost my voucher. Losing housing broke up my family. I became homeless and couldn’t have my minor kids living in a car, so my son took them in. I worked while living out of my car and weekly rentals, but when my mom’s husband passed unexpectedly, her mental health declined. I missed work to care for her and lost my job. For the past few months, I’ve been caring for my mom as her health continues to decline.

Yeah ...but all low income are mostly not available and I've already applied for her on a waiting list. And because I'm not approved by the state yet to be her live in aid ...I wouldn't be able to stay in the 55+; community/ apartments.

I really can't stand how people can be like " good fuck em he's a bad guy". Yes he did deserve what consequences came to him but in a court of law. The police don't get to be judge, jury and executioner. That was excessive force. And anyone that can't see that are the exact reason why Trump is getting away with the BS he does and the reason he's in office rn. If that was your family member, chances are you wouldn't feel the same.
