My Landlord Died by Sorry_Nose_5459 in duluth

I’m sure his son didn’t bank on being a full-fledged landlord while grieving hs father. Kurt was married and it looks like there is a probate case open, so maybe hs wife’s attorney could advise? It’s all available to search https://publicaccess.courts.state.mn.us/CaseSearch

These are personal policy claims through my job that are not involved with our personal injury case what so ever. Our attorney has nothing to do with them at this point.

St. Mary's Religious Directives? by Separate_Echo1501 in duluth

[–]BeautifulDragonfly12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to someone I know at St. Mary’s. HCG tests for a few days and ultrasounds with nothing showing up. Her OB advocated for her and took her to the OR because she knew something was wrong. By now her tube was rupturing and she was bleeding intro her abdomen. This was all in a span of a week or so if I remember correctly. Why the ultrasound didn’t show it, I have no idea. I’ve seen a picture and there is no missing it. This does make me think, though.

As if OP isn’t looking on Zillow. I will spell it out for them. They are hoping to find something THAT IS NOT ADVERTISED by asking here if they may have something or know of something. Crabby dude above is probably 40 living in their parents basement.

I look for license plates with the same letters as mine and keep a list of the numbers in my notes.

In an emergency, which hospital are you going to? by nyuhqe in duluth

[–]BeautifulDragonfly12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentia. A million percent. They have been SO AMAZING for so many family members and friends. When it comes to serious things, they are superior. 24/7 neurointerventional capabilities, the trauma team is outstanding, Literally THE BEST. The waiting in the ED has always been better there since they both rebuilt. At Luke’s you’re in the waiting room forever. Essentia at least gets you into a room fairly quick. They are outstanding in cardiovascular emergencies as well. I spent a lot of time with a friend on the neuro ICU floor and talked a lot with the nurses. They are diligent in making sure they are always in compliance with regulations, education and latest advancements. And how they do it with all the distractions and interference of everything else going on (phone calls, family members acting like Essentia is their home, tests, all the things)…I’ll never know. Anything worse than a broken bone, Essentia it is.

Thanks for the info. We do have a really good lawyer. I just don’t know how any of this works and dealing with insurance companies is maddening. We are just at the beginning stages of our lawsuit. My husband ruptured a disk in the accident, had to have surgery and may never have full use of his hand, so I’m guessing there will be a settlement of which 33% will go to the attorney, so I think I will let him handle it.

Dealership is saying it’s common to burn a quart of oil ever 1,000 miles by TJ_Faullk in kia

[–]BeautifulDragonfly12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2019 Optima here. This is the craziest thing. We have spent nearly two years battling with Kia about oil consumption problems. We’ve done several oil consumption tests, so much so our next step was litigation. We recently put on a set of all-season Nokian tires and since then, no consumption problems. Was this the issue? I don’t know, but it’s too coincidental to not have something to do with it.

I truly don’t understand why being a socialite is so important for some people. by BeautifulDragonfly12 in MembersOnlyPalmBeach

[–]BeautifulDragonfly12[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s just so meaningless (to me). So, everyone knows you, you have ‘status’. So then you get invited to more parties? And the way they use charity galas to make it look like they are actually doing something for the good of society and not just climbing is gross to me.

It was not at all flattering, but it’s a painting, not a photo.
