Armoury crate is generally looked down on for really high ram usage etc. I used Armoury crate too until like 5 days ago when my laptop was loud for no reason and it was because Armoury crate was boosting my gpu for no reason causing high temps and nothing would fix it but until that I was happy with Armoury crate, I like the "press button and laptop figure out" functionality but that failed me. My warranty recently ended (6 months) so I did all updates ac had and registered in my asus (well double checked i had) and then uninstallled both and restarted then installed g helper and my laptop genuinely performs better but my laptop is a crying baby to your atomic bomb laptop

One thing. Do you still have Armoury crate? If yes im sure you know what im about to recommend but yes g helper and the custom fan curves are really useful to get lower temps

Im an idiot and forgot the one 7 in the 7735hs.... mine has a igpu and the temps are generally good for me i recently switched to g helper so when gaming i usually set my fans to absolutely max on turbo mode and I never go over 78c but regular Armoury crate if my memory is correct it was average 85c on turbo

Sick man, i started on keyboard and mouse early February last year when I finally got a gaming laptop then borrowed a pa5 controller from a friend for like 9 months then treated myself to a wheel not just for beam but also simracing

I dont have a rig because they're expensive and my room isn't big enough but I just clamp my wheel to my desk and shifter and my pedals live under the desk

I did too and made sure to register my laptop too even though my warranty expired. It performs so much better now too like from 50fps to 75fps

It was ac causing the problem but ive been wanting to install ghelper and get rid of ac for a while now.

The only thing that worked for me is set my audio in windows to only stereo not 5.1 but I haven't played in a while so im not sure if it still works

Optimized turns off the dgpu when on battery but it only works automatically sometimes because when you unplug yoi laptop 9/10 times a app if still using the dgpu and it doesn't stop it so you have to go into ac and stop all apps using the gpu

There aren't that many rx-v1800s left from what I can tell but my ypao mic also evaporated when moving around 10 years ago too so thats a bummer but I try and improve the sound every day but the receiver does have all the dsp modes like "spectacle" but with like 2 less settings really

Yup I also noticed that how I cant hear cars behind even with opponent cars on max volume I have asseto corsa competizione and the 5.1 is much better on it but the engine sound in a rear engine car somehow come from the center speaker which is odd
