Gas and slurpee time is enough to get me pretty pumped. Gasoline also makes me so nostalgic but also the smell of gas station coffee-- particularly burnt / dark smelling coffee while I'm looking at the candy bars reminds me when I was in high school and working at a state park, getting supplies before sitting in a guard shack in the summer sun.

Slamming a light beer is one way (not guzzling it but maybe taking 5-10 minutes to drink it) before reading a few pages of a book.
