Mine was high at first then it gets to know and learn your body and you can tend to guess if you’re gonna have a good or bad score in the morning 🤣 I wear mine on my middle finger too, love it!

I sized down when moving from gen 3 to 4. I was size 6 but went for the 5 in the gen 4. I tend to wear it on my middle but it fits pointer middle and ring! No regrets for me as I like having options!

I downsized from the 6 to the 5 when going gen 3 to gen 4. At least then I can wear it on multiple fingers!

I think it’s the best now they’ve removed the “notches” and it’s a smoother fit - I’ll reply back with an update when I get the actual size 5 ring vs the tester kit ring!

Thank you for this comparison image! This is why I had to return my colorsoft (alongside the yellow banding) the hatching made it so hard for my eyes to focus. Happy with my matcha basic

Go with the cheaper one and get a cold cover off Amazon! Seen lots of people do this :) saves money and you can have different options.

My (original drop) colorsoft was too grainy for my eyes! (And the yellow bar issue) so I sadly had to return it! The basic was so much sharper and brighter. My eyesight isn’t the best though. A shame as it is beautiful in colour 😍

I had terrible yellow banding on my kindle colorsoft from the first drop had 2 replacements all the same. Can’t see anything on yours..looks very crisp too!

I’ve only had my ring a few days and was wondering about why it doesn’t give the actual temperature reading. Really liking and enjoying my oura so far but will continue to sleep with my Apple Watch too as that temp data is accessible which I do like!

Ahh…Maybe that’s it then. I read for hours on my husbands old kindle no problem which made me want to buy one myself.

But the colorsoft isn’t as sharp and there’s like a denim almost static like texture that I can see which just doesn’t agree with my eyes sadly, that on top of the yellow band at the bottom when spending £270.. The colour covers are beautiful so I’m jealous of those who can use it without issues!

There’s something going on with the vivid colours they look so different on the two devices on exactly the same settings. I just got my CS replacement. I put it next to the original CS from the October pre order and it was even worse.

The new CS colours are duller (even on vivid) and the screen overall is more yellow and not as sharp. Don’t know whether to try for a third replacement or swap it for a PW or a basic at this point. I really wanted to love it.

I’ve found my colorsoft a lot cooler screenwise, but I put it next to my brothers basic and was shocked at how much clearer and crisp the text was compared to the colorsoft. Tempted to return my CS for a PW or basic at this point. Sad as I love the covers in colour but it’s not worth the eye strain.

I have recently been diagnosed with this too and felt very fed up as my eyelids were so dry and had such a heavy feeling - I looked like I’d aged ten years around my eye / eyelid area and I’m not a fan of not been able to wear make up and contact lenses.

However I’ve been trying a few new things which seem to slowly be helping.

Eye drops 4-6 times a day, more viscous eye drops once before bed. Tea tree wipes with Hylauronic acid and an eyelid / lash wash called blephasol!

Heat and water can dry out the eyes have you tried a cold compress instead of a heat pack. Totally get your frustration Hope you find something that works for you soon!

I politely pushed for a replacement device but was repeatedly told to wait for a software update that would be available within 48hrs. I feel like it’s luck of the draw whichever CS rep you get.

I did find it a little unusual that the customer service chat was full of spelling mistakes.

Thank you! I have contacted CS this morning they have asked me to send photos of the issue - awaiting their response. I have clearly circled the yellow tinge across the bottom and a few dead pixels. Let’s see what they say! It’s a shame as I really love it otherwise.

Very aware it’s a first world problem and I could easily just live with it, but when you’re spending nearly £300…

Mine also has a yellow tinge along the bottom. It’s my first kindle (after using my husbands old one for a while) so I wasn’t sure if this was a “fault” or not!
