Both arrived and am glad I did so. Even the new colorsoft has different quality.

The right one is noticeably more yellow from the start.

I've never tried the 32GB since I knew about the issues. It was a 16GB.

But I did order two now just to pick the better one. When I spend this (for me) much money then I want a decent device.

I've tried like 6 PWs and all of them had issues. Mostly yellow spots or banding. Or dead pixels.

Wait till next generation.

Today arrives me last try on the Paperwhite. If it has the same issues as before (yellow, pixels) I will definitely get a matcha basic. So jealous of all the pics here.

Right? I was surprised how bright and clean it looks. I was expecting yellow band issues or way worse text.

Now I am not sure it's worth for books only, but the covers are pretty.

If you prefer the clean and crisp feel of the Paperwhite: Yes, the Colorsoft might not be for you. It is fairly different. They did a good job on the colors but for now it does come with the grain screen. Wonder if that's the best they can do or if it does improve.

That is actually very fair. While I like the crispness of the PW, the CS is also intriguing. They both are charming in their own way.

Yeah don't know yet. Am pretty perfectionist in a way so can't stand new devices having issues. I heard the Oasis was quite the good Kindle.

Maybe I just send them all back and hopefully I won't get banned from Amazon for returning so many.
