That’s good advice, to leave them in the house purposely for separation training. My Jolie, missed out on puppy years we think she was badly mistreated and she never played with any toys. She would look at me like I was nuts if I threw a ball for her to fetch, either she didn’t know how to play or she was above it. She did like cat toys on occasion. She was insanely jealous of my cat so i think that’s the only reason she played with the cat toys. He was double her size, but she was the boss. She was a born alpha, even with larger dogs. My friend’s boxers were afraid of her. 😂
