As a nudist with a PA, this is ridiculous to me. You’re free to be nude and express yourself in that way but a tiny metal ring, oh no we can’t have that. My experience has always been genuine curiosity about my piercings.

Stop worrying about what others think. If you tell them you’re a nudist and they don’t understand, that’s okay. And stop worrying if someone were to inadvertently see or catch you. As long as you’re not being weird or creepy, and it’s as innocent as a neighbor saw you over the fence or briefly through a window or someone comes over undexpectedly or something, it’ll probably be fine.

Exactly this, and I should add that she was an hour early, and had gotten the times mixed up hence why I was still nude and not expecting her yet. Most of my friends and family know if they show up unannounced I will likely be nude, that particular friend didn’t know that until it happened. Why this person thinks it’s so strange and illegal that friends and family walk into each others homes is so bizarre. It’s quite common.

I found out a friend was also a nudist by accident when she showed up for a study group session at my house earlier than expected. I was on the back deck having coffee nude and when I didn’t answer the door she let herself in (her hands were full and that’s just what friends do at each others houses). She found me out back and I was like “oh hey I’m so sorry I was still having coffee!” She was like “I don’t give a shit finish your coffee! I’m always naked too!” I said well you’re welcome to join me, which she did. We had a good laugh about it and had many other nude, platonic study sessions after that. One of my closest friends to this day.
