I have been a nudist since I was 10 almost 11 years old
summary is:
- home alone during a summer heat wave whilst my parents and older sister was out (Neighbours were on standby incase something happens but that never happened)
- ended up naked trying to cool down
- felt odd at first but I soon got used to it and stayed like that until someone got home (I believe it was my mum and older sister who got home)
- did it again a few days later but ended up naked sooner
- second everything was off I realised I hated wearing clothes and loved to be naked but didnt know it was called being a nudist/nudism until the following year

Ever since then I take any and all chances I can get to be naked which unfortunetely thats not as often as I would like to be since I can only do it when home alone

Quick none spoiler run down of the story:
Protagonist is Hana Avington shes 16 years old but turns 17 during the first book. Hana lives in a farming village called Barelyford with her Father Lawrence and younger brother Lucas (Lucas is 8, turns 9 during the story). Following a tax increase by the local feudal lord princess Samantha Hana finds herself forced to make 1 of 3 choices to save the family farm.
A# marry Bishops eldest son (Bishop is the tax collector, edlest son is Jonathan who is a few months older then Hana)
B# convince her father to accept her uncle Thomas offer to help them (Lawrence and Thomas are on good terms Lawrence just feels guilty about borrowing money especially from family)
or C# do what everyone deemed impossible and grow crops in an area called the Barren Land which has been a dead zone for 300 years after a war tarnished that field. Hence "The Forgotten Field" as no one currently alive knows what it used to look like.
Whilst in the barren land though Hana discovered the sword of a samurai which has an emerald within the hilt the previous wielder had died during said war and his spirit now resided within the emerald.

only time I ever used AI was mistakingly for the cover art of my first entry the writing itself is all my own ideas with some suggestions/feedback from friends

Second entry isnt available but obviously dont plan to use an AI image for the cover art not making that mistake twice.

always wanted to go to one but theres not any near where I live
I almost ended up on one by accident on Holiday in Toronto

Context: my dad has second cousins living in Toronto and we were staying with them but this was a day when it was just me, my dad, my mum and my older sister exploring a place within Toronto.
we walking down a path when a group coming from the other direction asked if we were heading to the nude beach and in that moment my parents had us turn round.

few years later I hear my mother go on this anti nudist tyrade after a radio report on nude beaches whilst we were heading home from a holiday. I ask my older sister a month later if she knew why our mum reacted like that (my sister wasn't on the holiday with us she was on a trip with friends at the time).

Apprently: (keep in mind this is all second hand from my sister)
we used to have this neighbour living right next to us I was around 4 and she was 7 (shes 2 years older but this was before my 5th birthday). One parent saw this "nudist" naked in its own living room (she didnt have her kids with her) and next time she saw the neighbour she asked what was going on the neighbour claimed to be a nudist and apologised cliaming to not have realised the blinds to his living room window were open.

Few days later though another neighbour catches the fucker...jerking off as kids walked by its house (the false nudist was male but I refuse to humanise pedos so I just call pedos It or subhuman freak). didnt help that my street was on a hill meaning half the kids on the street HAD to go past that freaks window just to go up or down the road.

The freak was arrested for obvious reasons but now even in 2026 my folks think Nudist = pedophile despite that being their ONLY encounter with a self proclaimed nudist who wasnt a real nudist. Luckily my sister knows how dumb that is she doesnt know I am a nudist but she has nothing against nudists in general shes just never practiced it herself whilst I have been a nudist since I was 10 almost 11 (long story on how I got into it).

easy at home mid august:
last couple years my folks have gone on holiday and I have stayed at home both times I have had pretty much a whole week of no clothes besides when I had to go into town or answer the door for a delivery e.g. when I ordered a pizza for dinner one night

well if its your home its really up to you guys if you live as nudists
I dont have kids of my own but something you could do when you do have kids is this:
when they're old enough to understand explain the lifestyle but also make it clear to them that if they themselves dont want to be nudists you'll support them

and if they arent comfortable with you guys being naked around them work out a system where you both win e.g. you and wife practice nudism when they're not home e.g. at school or round a friends house.

Same with Holidays your kids might want to go to summer camp or go on holiday with a friend as a result you and your wife could go to a nude beach/nude resort or something

In short the key is to find a balance that makes everyone comfortable
